In a world of despair and gross perplexity lies both the good and bad,comfort and discomfort,rich and poor,etc.just like the sides of an average coin.
Dominant challenges like lack,insecurity as well as poverty have really battled up certain persons,groups or nations,especially developing ones,which are majorly African countries.
Citizens of these countries need urgent assistance.Nations like Afghanistan,Liberia,among other nations are in serious need of medical aids,as their health sectors are highly deficient.
The security status there is as risky as walking the path of death.
More importantly,discussing about the immediate needs of 'neigbours' closer to us, we see them everyday - on our streets,main roads,even the high ways. It is way too saddening,seeing our fellow national brothers and sisters,wallowing in abject poverty and wants.
I remember a day I was in a hurry,walking down to a bus stop after alighting at one. Then I heard this girl of about five or six years,in dirty clothes,rough hair, walking and calling me "Daddy,daddy..."
I got her message!
She was just trying to exercise her own taught way of begging for alms.I had to hand her some money note. It was a touching moment for me that day,that so moved me to tears.
"Even this little girl has grown to be aware of such thing called alms begging!"
My emotionally provoking thoughts there,as I walked away.
Since many intertwined/inter related nearest people to us make a community,then nation, I would however state conclusively, that these are the people who sincerely need our help,both financially and medical attentions(as they are being exposed to a lot of health hazards,due to malnutrition,and even sitting on dusty road sides).
To wrap up this write-up,I will quote a passage from the Holy Bible. I quote..
"It is blessed to give than to receive."
When we give(anything at all)to the nearest needy to us, we are securing a family;society; even a Nation as a whole.
Let us all come to reason together, and render help to the needy closer to us.We make them happy,we make Africa and the world a better and happier place to live.
