In an effort to keep some mystery to an upcoming event we are going to be having from @newbiegames (in conjunction with @newbieresteemday), I will ask for some blind faith for volunteers. We will be helping @simplymike to make this game a seasonal event!
But in order to keep it from being totally blind, I will give a few hints. We have a opportunity to educate the newbies and minnows on a few cool things to enhance their Steemit experience, and the goal of this game is to 1) draw them to the game 2) educate them about these cool things and 3) have some fun. We want to have an "event" that is disguised as a game!
We need volunteers to do several things, but the first of which will be to reach out to their friends and followers to get some support for the event. In other words, we need some people to "fan out" and be prepared to get involved in this project that will happen in approximately one week or so.
What kind of support? We are looking for various items listed below. All donations will be given to @newbiegames and will be distributed in the game for minnows and newbies. Note: Newbies 45 Rep and below and Minnows 46 to 59 Rep
- sbds or steem to be used for prizes and/or upvote purchases
- donations of @dustsweeper starter accounts ($0.25 for each $0.50 upvote starter package)
- donations of starter packs or booster packs for the hot new game @steemmonster
- donations of individual cards from @steemmonster (commons, rare, other... all are appreciated)
- upvote support of the players in the game... the upvote can be as little as $0.01 per entry (but 10 people with a penny each makes a dime) ;)
- any other prizes and/or memberships that people can think of (and of course want to part with). We are open to all ideas, so be creative ;)
So this is the post to find out if anyone is interested in helping with this project. The size of the program will depend on how much participation we get and how many of you want to "fan out" and help make this succeed!

I'm actually really glad you posted this. I was planning on delegating a little more SP to @newbiegames and couldn't for the life of me figure out what password to use. Long story short, I UNDELAGATED all I had given them and couldn't figure out how to reverse it. I was playing around with what passwords do what and I need to get back to it. I had this same problem voteing witnesses and is ultimately why I proxied Asher. Do you know what password I need to use to delegate and or vote witnesses?
@johndoer123 I think your active key on the witnesses... I use steembottracker to do my delegations. Not sure what they use, but they will come up and tell you what keys to use... It should never be more than either your posting or active key (maybe owner key, but I don't ever remember needing it) ... You're a good egg @johndoer123!!! Thank you for all you do for everyone!

I am right there with you @phoenixwren... part of that is because we earned our steem with high prices (so we got less steem for each dollar than those before us).... That is why we are still less than minnows... but I kept it under 60 for this contest so that many can participate... So you make the cutoff ;)
