If successful, future contests will maybe have a higher payout.

Downvotes are one thing, but being on a blacklist shows publicly on platforms like Peakd...
To say things like "this isn't steemit, and low quality posts aren't welcome" is both incredibly pretentious and speaks to a self-given "authority". Maybe we should create a blacklist of all the blacklist accounts so everyone knows who thinks they speak for a decentralized platform, and use the very same downvotes they use to show distaste or impose their will... I'll take part just to give a finger to someone who thinks they have authority over others here.
