Regardless I want to see you continue posting. I've been a fan of your account since I started on steemit. The hate you're receiving seems orchestrated and methodical. I agree with another commenter from a previous post that I think it has something to do with you creating the bid bot. There are plenty of other accounts that do similar contests get they receive no Flack from higher-ups or whales. I think trying to curtail the contest so that it falls in line with the mindset of the community for what is acceptable is the best course of action. Make the contest photography based- do your own spin on the 7day b&w / color challenge - have the contest Runa week - larger prize - no more daily posts ? - or up the level of quality required for winning if it's writing - or keep it low effort but again do it once a week. Maybe their issue is frequency not the material itself. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the ideas. As always you have wise words to bring to the table. I've had some additional reasoning explaining being giving the downvotes. I'm reasonable and will adapt. Maybe I should forget the contest thing. I just liked seeing people from other countries be excited for winning and leaving me positive feedback.
I did get a bit out of hand with it I suppose.
