This is the very first contest I’m organising on Steemit, and I’m so excited that I’m able to do this. I hope to make this a continuous thing. I pray I get the support and resources I need to keep it on, so help me God. Lol.
I’ll be giving out Six SBDs for a start.
Let’s dive right into it.
The name of the project is “My Story My Truth.” For starters, we are going to do a contest titled “The Happiest Day Of My Life.”
Bad things happen all over the world. And like wild fire, bad news travels very fast. As humans, it’s very easy for us to remember the horrible things that have happened to us. Even when it happened when we were kids, such a memory often goes into old age with us. Where does that leave the good things that happen to us? What about the beautiful memories we have made and the memorable experiences that make us smile whenever we remember them? Yes, bad things happen, but good things happen too! We just don’t give the good things so much relevance. The goal of this contest is to help us remember that one day that was void of any trouble in the world – the day we can confidently say was the happiest day of our life.
Don’t just enter the contest for the sole aim of wining - the bigger picture is for you to enjoy and relive the moment as you write your story.
RULES FOR JOINING THE CONTEST
• Resteem and upvote this post. Doing these two things will give the post more visibility and allow more people to participate.
• The title of your post must be “My Story My Truth: The Happiest Day Of My Life – ( You may add your own title) For example
My Story My Truth: The Happiest Day Of My Life – My High School Graduation
• The first hashtag of your post must be "contest" followed by "writing" and then "mystory-mytruth" you can add any other hashtags of your choice.
• Your entry must be between 200-250 word-count.
• Drop the link to your entry in the comment section of this post.
• Only one entry is allowed per person.
• Your entry must be original.
• If you make use of any images or videos in your post, please site the source(s).
Failure to adhere to these rules will lead to disqualification.

Third Place – 1 SBD

The deadline for this contest is January 25th at 24:00 hours CAT.

can we enter if we do all the requirements but do not resteem I think resteeming should always be an option for contests and not a requirement I try to only post my original content and resteem posts I want to refer back to in the future for useful content this contest is a great initiative but the entries will hold the true valuable content not this post per say so if Ijust upvote and comment a link of my entry post is that enough to be entered?
