A questioner asked about why do Engineering students learn more advanced Mathematics in the faculty of Engineering.
I am an Engineering student and I really know how it feels to go through series of Advanced Mathematics courses. Sometime we Engineering students do think that we won't need Mathematics in our field of practice. We do believe that we won't be told to find dy/dx or solve complex ODEs then why are we stressing ourselves doing more of Advanced Mathematics?
