Introducing Question of the Day (QOTD)

Every day this month, I am going to ask all Steemians a question. It's not going to be something crazy hard from a Math exam, rather an easy question where we can get to know you a little better.

And by answering the question, you'll be entered to win 0.50SBD!

Yesterday's winner is @sultnpapper!!

I've sent your prize to your wallet!! :)

Our animal park right at the center of the city. Whenever I get bored or need to relax that is where I go. More than that we have different nature trails that you can go for a jog. Enjoy fresh air and clear your mind.

Your town sounds very relaxing and peaceful!

Love the idea of daily questions. :) It will definitely help you keep on track to post every day if that's your goal. My town...I love it because of the weather (and the friends who live here). The weather is pretty much perfect every single day. We can be outside every day in basically the same clothes year round. When it rains during rainy season, it's in the afternoon, but thankfully we have mornings to enjoy being outside. The kids just love getting to run around with friends pretty much every day. And we have great views like this:

Wow, that is such a beautiful view!

I love where I live because this community works very hard to sustain the natural wildlife and environment. The community is also named as part of the Blue Zone Project which promotes long living through health, spirituality, and community. The fact that I can enjoy the outdoors every day is a huge plus. It allows us to be more active physically, mentally and socially. And I love the beach walks :)

Ahhh, beach walks. I bet those really help you clear your mind and just "be".

My favourite thing about my town is the sense of community. Whether it is youth groups, sports teams or the business community. In good-times or bad, this town goes above and beyond to take care of each other. The youth in this town whether in Scouts, Cadets, 4H or any of the many sports teams, all these youth give back to their town by acts of volunteerism. They volunteer helping veterans sell poppies for Remembrance Day. Visiting the seniors in the extended care centre. Springtime cleanup along highways in our area. This town has a sense of itself and attracts community minded citizens. People here want to be a part of their town. That is my favourite thing about my town.

I love active communities like this. Sounds like a wonderful place to live!

Thank you for selecting me as your winner for 3/1/18 very much appreciated.

Well thank YOU for entering :)

My favorite thing about our town is the park at the rail road depot. The depot is a testament to how the town was able to survive and thrive, yet remain small and have the home town atmosphere. The park is a community gathering spot and the city hosts all kinds of home town events there on the weekends including farmers markets and movies in the evenings on the second Saturday of each month. Truly a great small town, the bronze statues are there to salute the people who made it happen and add a real touch of class to the park.

Very nice central spot for all the happenings in the town. We have a train depot in our town too, and they plan to renovate it soon.

Thank you for running this fun competition! My answer is here. ☺️

Thanks for sharing so much about your town!!

Boston has so much to offer. As a community Bostonians often come together to support each other, the various neighborhoods, and charities. We have some of the best, hospitals, and schools. The city boasts many historic firsts, public school, public garden, and chocolate factory to name a few. For those who love history, there are many places to visit. These are just a few of the highlights my city has to offer.

To select one is difficult, so I decided to go with a place I love the most The Public Gardens. Located in the heart of the city. In the spring, there are flowers galore! But, best of all is the swan boats in the garden’s lagoon!

As a child my parents took us once a year. My favorite childhood book, Make Way for Ducklings, tells the tale of how the Mallard family came to live on the island in the lagoon. They even have statues of the Mallard family in the Public Garden.

I have visited every year since 1984 on or around my birthday, in April. The birthday day excursion is subject to the weather, never cancelled only delayed. My husband was the one who started the tradition for my birthday. When he was alive he always took my birthday off, so we could go. Once my son came along, he joined us on our annual ride. Now, every year my son goes with me.

After the ride we walk around while eating ice cream! Life doesn’t get any better than a sunny day in the Boston Public Garden.

The Public Gardens sound heavenly! If I ever make it to Boston I will be sure to check them out.
