I would go for company B. In fact i have been with a B type for the past 9 years, two different companies. No bonus for the past 9 years, some days there are issues with cash flow, and it may not even come with additional pay for extra hours. But then strangely these are the companies I’ve stayed on the longest. But why do I stay?
Most of the time smaller companies comes with more flexibility in terms of working hours / days / work from home options - these are always negotiable especially if you have kids and you need the flexibility to be able to do school runs, and on days when your kids are sick or when you have no one to babysit.
Now the amount you bring home may not be much but having the flexibility and the extra time on hand is something money cannot buy.
