Challenges
Updating of primary bot code. Well I've got all the code and I've tested it in bits and bobs, but now I need to put it all together into one kick butt bot. The challenge with this is I don't have @cryptonik programming background to do this, but I'll give it my best shot and do some testing right here on this post over the next few days - So when Cryptonik rejoins us I'll have made it a bit easier to polish the work hehe (his coding is smooth compared to my petty skills).
Timing to kick off enrolment. So I'm going bush again on another lordnigel adventure, and being me I can't do normal shit and yeah internet is gonna be patchy at best. The dates I need to work around are probably 20th to 23rd April. These dates will see me not able to interact or post stages etc. Based on this, I'm looking at kicking off enrolments approx 19th (if it all comes together :)). But I will be heavily relying on @doughtaker and the other returning players to help the new players along. @doughtaker, would you be able to confirm peoples enrolements?
I suspect @doctorcrypto or @steemsph might be willing just to add a comment as people enrol and make them feel welcome. Then around the 24th I can jump back in, post detailed instructions, item shop, map and the next day Stage one. Hope this seems ok?
Failing this, and it comes to much I'll either pause the game or delay until I get decent internet on the 24th.
Updating of Gobbo code: I'm going to try and update the code so it shows an item (So you can decide if you want to pickpocket the Git or not, but I suspect this challenge might be beyond my skills without @cryptonik help, but I will try. Sure hope he makes his normal appearance on Sunday :)
Testing of bots under load: This stuff is a bit complex, so like even if I get a bot running it has to work in with Steemit perfectly, so it has to try to cope with players posting at the same time, with the 20 second posting delay thing, with keeping it's self up....timeout settings etc. It's not easy stuff! As a result a lot could go wrong, so I'm going to do a bit of testing here on this page and may post reply's that say "BOT TESTING WINDOW APPROX 1 HOUR" and then give some bot commands, if people want to join in and test with me, go for it! just try not to spoil the game and start attacking each other hehe...This way if anyone wants to help, can just do some test runs below and jump in, would be fantastic!
Mini Game at Stage 5: Currently I'm just gonna go with a PVP, but if i have the time to think of a in game/side quest mini game gambling rumble, I''ll sneak it in.

This'll probably take me a while to digest. Looks like an all-in-one bot, good...
It looks like ibtluckydip functions as the equivalent of a 2nd pickpocket for qualified players, but will have a different distribution of potential items?
That's about all I can think of at the moment. I should give a couple of commands a spin when the bot is up just to see it in action.
IBT LUCKY DIP BOT - As you know I don't make allot of Steem from IBT, but I think it does contribute value to the platform (if we keep growing it one day it might get some decent upvotes and a large number of players).
I don't want IBT to be a pay to win system, ever!, but how would people feel about a Level1 item lucky dip bot?
So the concept is, if you haven't reached Level1 (haven't won 2 Stages on first attack - based on the proposed level0 -2 system in previous ideas post) but still want to have a crack at further Stages, boss round but feel like you are at disadvantage, you simply transfer 0.01 Steem and you get a random item that does anything from +1 to +3 for your attack(This maybe too high and have people thinking it's pay to win).
I guess the alternative is I could make all level 0 items from the Item shop available to luckydip..So if your not lucky enough to have me say "hey great reply help yourself to a level0 item", you could just go "I'm transfering 0.01 steem to @wizardzap and take the level 0 item X? hmmn this might be better actually and see more use to help build the bot...also as people can only use the level0 item for the stage they are on (they don't stack) wouldnt be heaps pay to win like. I would keep gobbo as is random, so if you roll a low number always chances to get much higher/lower +hit in a Stage.
I guess if people keen to get to Level2 as quickly as possible to get the (most devistating spell known to IBT - which is a non character specific blow-u devistating spell that only has a 50% chance to hit, but is crazy damage - only a Risky blow at top end with top +3 item could defend against).
The funds would also be held by the @wizardzap backup bot to ensure high availability of IBT. Eventually if IBT fails/stops I would be beneficiary of the funds....but at that rate I imagine in only be 1 or 2 Steem.
As a bonus, anyone who uses the luckydip can be auto followed and upvoted by @wizardzap -a constant reminder IBT wants you back :)
As a transfer is made, it could be used as a confirmation, that a player did infact make a donation and was therefor able to use !luckdip command. and the item counts.
Thoughts? good, bad, neutral..would people use it?
Hmmn if I do it for level0 items, will need to throw in a +3 item, 2+ 2items and then say 10 +1 items...
This way everyone gets at least a +1 - but there is even a 1 in 12 chance of getting a +3.
-The trick is our field judges will need to go to steemd and check a transfer to @wizardzap to be sure the item is valid. I guess if I make this the only way to get level 0 items it should encourage people to do the right thing and there would be no difficult rules. So to get that level2 spell, you need to trade at shop for trophy. This means I can give out allot more trophy, but people don't have to go through the bother of transferring back to me (people just want to drop in, have fun and leave - they can). Those who are after the big prize at the end and think strategically will try to win on first hit 4 rounds, and to do this they will use what ever they can, including purchasing the items for a very tiny amount of Steem, without having to leave Steemit. The idea is if you do get to level 2 and you get to use the most powerful spell known to IBT! you send me a trophy and its then available to you for the remainder of the game and you could use it as a desperate last ditch effort in Arena or during Boss round to win game. keeping life points dear to you as whatever you roll the life points at the end are added.
I will do a draft instructions post shortly pulling this all together so it's clear (and seek last chance feedback)...but I think it's getting close to a winning formula that we could use for all future IBT, that's fair, reasonable, simple enough for new players etc.

I'm at a loss. I have no idea what a lucky dip bot is...That is really my very first thought of them.
..basically it means you pay some Steem and get an item (vs. trophy), 9/12 chance +1 to player hit, 2/12 chance +2 to player hit and maybe 1/12 chance +3 or +4 to player hit item.
