I have received total 17 entries, in which only 13 entries are valid as per the rules of the contest. The 4 entries which are disqualified because of they comment/reply after the deadline (24th January, 2018 at 23:59 IST (+ 5:30 GMT / UTC)) of contest or not answer the joining date of @firepower . When I was started the contest, I think that lots of entry and more participation, I will see. But this is not there and I am not satisfied with what's going in contest. There are so many things, some are below:
- Some participant comes with multiple entry. So not more engagement in contest.
- In this contest #3, I have seen that much difference between post payout and guess. It is approx 20%. This is my fault that I have not mention anything in contest T&C. So, I have selected the winner as per rules and transfered the 4 SBD's.
- To guess the post payout figure is not easy to anyone, so participant wait for closing time of contest and many of them may not be remembered the last hours time. It is not in favor of participant to guess the post payout figure, when they see the post early, they have to wait for last hours.
- I am a tinny minnow not a dolphin/whale, so giving 4 SBD as pool prize is big for me. I have started the contest with 2SBD and 1 winner and over a time I increased it to 4 SBD and 3 winner. I think that it will attract more minnow steemians to participate in contest. But this was not working too much.
So, finally I am closing this contest and started a new contest. Too see more participant in contest, I have changed the whole contest but prize money and winner quantity was same. Please, go through the contest details and participate in it. The link of contest is here
