nice composition, not sure tho if that's a longing for rain or a expression of inevitability of rain... or perhaps fascination of it's cyclicality and persistence - as basis to 'being it' ?

The poem is encourages the reader to be persistent and find the ways in and around what would hinder us, to be inevitable change that cannot be contained – as the rain is inevitable and cannot be contained. “Be the rain.”

The mountain will be reduced to sandy shore. . .
Still the rain will fall.

Be the rain.
