Let me set the precursor to this article by starting off with some quotes from a famous personality.

If you have guessed which gentleman said this, you are right!! I am speaking about Nick Vujicic. You might think what is so special about this guy? There are lot of quotes from great philosophers and historians and others who have accomplished great things in life. In that case, why does the quotes of this guy stand out?
Introduction
Before we get into why he is so special, let me give you his introduction. Nick Vujicic was born (Nicholas James Vujicic) in Melbourne, Australia, in 1982 to Dušanka and Borislav Vujičić, Serbian immigrants from Yugoslavia. Vujicic graduated from Griffith University at the age of 21 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a double major. He is an International Motivation Speaker, an Entrepreneur and New York Times Best Selling Author. If you think all this could be achieved by anybody, just think out loud and see how many people around you achieve something like this.

Early Childhood
Nick was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder (called phocomelia) characterized by the absence of arms and legs. He is one of the seven known individuals planet-wide who live with the syndrome. Vujicic has two small and deformed feet, one of which he calls his "chicken drumstick" because of its shape.
Originally, he was born with the toes of that foot fused. So an operation was performed to separate the toes so that he could use them as fingers to grab, turn a page, or perform other functions. He has been able to use his foot to operate an electric wheelchair, a computer and a mobile phone. Vujicic says he had an "amazingly normal childhood", despite the fact that he was constantly bullied throughout his schooling. He has faced all odds in life and completed degree in Commerce and a double major in Accountancy and Financial Planning.
Accomplishments and Personal Life
In 2005, Vujicic founded an international non-profit organisation named Life Without Limbs.
In August 2011, "Attitude is Altitude" released a music video by Vujicic called "Something More".
Nick married Kanae Miyahara, whom he met in Texas, on 12 February 2012. The couple have four children and reside in southern California.
Message to US
Each of us have problems and challenges in life. When situations get tougher, we tend to lose out confidence and buckle under pressure. We easily give up. Imagine what he would have gone through day-in and day-out with every single situation from basic things like eating, moving around, having to perform his ablutions without any help. If we just fall sick for a couple of days, we find these simple tasks Herculean and want members of our family to help us. He symbolizes hope and courage to all of us. If he, being a divyang, can battle life smilingly and overcome challenges, imagine what we can achieve if we refuse to give up and keep the spirit going. I respect Nick for being that source of inspiration. I am totally floored by his "Never Give Up" attitude. Are you?
