Today, i'm holding a contest. You must use the clues to find out the final answer. Note that this contest isn't for the weak hearted, as it may contain depressing and heavy stuff. This might be one of the hardest things i have ever made so far, so i don't promise it will be easy ;)

How to participate:

Instructions:
Below are 2 pictures, and a password protected link. Manipulate, scan and research these objects, until you get an 8-letter word. That word is the answer. Use whatever means you like, whether it's reverse searching, image editing or decryption.

EDIT: Looks like i made the challenge too difficult, so here is a hint for Picture 1:
- In the day, we can see better than at night. When we look closer, we can see things that we've never seen before. Try viewing things from a different angle.
EDIT: Apparently the image hosting services are blurring out the picture, decreasing it's quality. So here is the hidden message in the text:

How does these challenges work? We have to base it on pictures 1 and 2 only?
Kind of. You must research, manipulate, edit the images to find clues to the next step. It is similar to the Cicada 3301 challenges.

I inverted the background to white but it's still blurry. Tried an image to text converter and it went all over the place hahaha. I hope someone solves this. That image is giving me goosebumps :S
