It's very philosophical though, about doing good and bad actions, what are good actions, should we expect a trophy for doing right things, our sense of self-worth, etc... If you are not into philosophical reading material skip it :) I still have to reread it again to analyze each sentence better but the whole thing is very well written and maybe you can learn something out of it... I especially liked the sentence
Doing the right thing should be about the first action, the reconcilement with one's conscience and not about the reaction to the action.
