I'm not sure if I can nominate a post that is past payout, but in my opinion @davemccoy simply deserves a trophy for all the work he's doing to support newbies with his #newbieresteemday project.

Dave has been supporting no less than 17 contests set up for newbies to learn more about Steemit. Not only was he a very impressive coach, motivator and promoter for all the game makers, he also took it upon him to give every minnow(-45) that entered one of those 17 contests an extra upvote, plus heavily promoted all the contests.
That is only one of the many initiatives he has set up to support newbies. There are so many more. In my opinion, he's providing a wonderful service to the community, so I think he really deserves a trophy. (And I guess I'm not the only one).
