Seeing the contest today I am very happy, because the illustration of the image provided by @xpilar is "Cape town", The city where I live is one of the Cape town is surrounded by the ocean.

The city of Lhokseumawe is one of the cities in Aceh province, Indonesia. The city of Lhokseumawe is the meaning of two words combined with the island's existence. In Aceh language "Lhok" it means Deep, Bay, Trough, and Sea. While the word "Seumawe" intends water circling or springs center on the sea along the offshore Banda Sakti (capital of Lhokseumawe which is cape town) and surrounding areas.

Once upon a time In the 19th century Lhokseumawe city was still one of the cape towns that made it the headquarters of foreigner ships who wanted to trade in this city. However, after the 20th century foreign ships no longer entered Cape town of Lhokseumawe, besides local fishing boats.

Now the city of Lhokseumawe continues to grow, but there are no more foreign ships that stop here, because the port has been moved to Krueng Geukuh (One of the subdistrict capital of Aceh province) which is about 12 kilometers from the city of Lhokseumawe.

Lhokseumawe is the second largest city in Aceh province after the capital of Banda Aceh province. This is what causes the city to go ahead and not behind in terms of information and others even though this city is no longer a Cape town as in the era of the 19th century.

Told, there is a village called Kampung Pematang Panjang, located on the banks of the river Blumei. The river is a means of traffic that connects the Rantau Panjang trading center on the beach to Kampung Talun Kenas located in the upper Blumei river. For the Talun Kenas people with Karo ethnicity, when buying and selling to Pasar Rantau Panjang, on the way back, always stop by and rest in Kampung Pematang Panjang (Tanjung).

Without a clear cause, one day there was a dispute between some residents of Kampung Talun Kenas with some residents of Kampung Pematang Panjang. The dispute is unstoppable, even ending

with a fight. Villagers of Talun Kenas lost and they reported the incident to the village head. Vengeful resentment makes them agree, avenge defeat by way of attacking again. Then they send five spies who move at night, to know the field and the strength of the enemy.

At the time of doing the action, the spies feel very tired, then they lay down under a shady tree and grounded the tree's leaves. Apparently the leaf is a nyelu nettle leaf (the most itchy leaves). Not too long ago, the itching attacked them. The itching turns into pain by scratching their hands, so the investigation is stopped. Their mission failed miserably, they went back to Talun Kenas village without any fruit.

Resentment and guilt arise in their hearts. What can make, everything has happened outside the plan. Then they reported everything that happened to the chief. They also suggested that the attack be canceled, because they thought that the residents of Kampung Pematang Panjang (Tanjung) already know the evil plan they will do. They say, "It's better for us to stop our plan than to be hit by disaster, let alone the people, the trees are just laughing (angry) to us, the pain is unbearable, especially if the people laugh, unimaginable how sick, eyes affected by the nettle.

Subsequently, the chief sent them to Kampung Tanjung to apologize, as well as to ask the antidote for the illness they suffered. It turns out that good intentions get a good reception too. They are also forgiven by the people of Tanjung, while the antidote is enough to rub the ground into the itch.

Based on the event of merawanya trees, finally they added the word Tanjung with the word "merawa", so the village changed its name to Kampung Tanjung Merawa. The word merawa turns into 'Morawa', according to the speech of the Dutch who began to enter the village. Since then until now, the village is known as "Kampung Tanjung Morawa".

Once upon the time: The Cape City.
Thank @xpilar for bring this competition, i will be sharing about city town of cape, you would read and understand what colour people's of south Africa experienced in the early 14s to 17s century. This city called "Cape Town" is an ancient city in the history.

Human communities had lived in the Cape Peninsula and Western Cape long before the beginning of the Christian era, surviving by hunting, fishing and gathering edible plants and roots. They were the ancestors of the Khoisan peoples of modern times - the Bushmen (San) and the Hottentot (Khoikhoi).

The Bushmen were hunter-gatherers who lived in small, loosely knit groups of about 20 persons. They were highly mobile on account of their dependence on game, and for the same reason widely dispersed territorially. The Hottentot, in comparison, were mainly herders along the Orange River, the boundary river between South Africa and Namibia, and the coastal belt stretching from Namibia around Cape Point to the Eastern Cape. Both groups were thought to have migrated southward, ahead of the Bantu-speaking peoples whose ancestral home lay well in the north.

Before the Dutch came to the Cape, the Hottentot conducted trade with their Bantu-speaking neighbours in cattle and dagga (marijuana) and, to a lesser extent, iron and copper. After the arrival of men from Europe, they traded their cattle for tobacco and began to act as brokers in developing trade between the Europeans and the Xhosa tribes to the east.

The European advance eventually cost the Hottentot their land, stock and trade. Twice defeated in battle in 1713 and 1755, and decimated by smallpox, they ultimately lost their identity as a distinct cultural group and intermarried with slaves and others to form the Cape Coloured people.

The earliest known remnants in the region were found at Peers Cave in Fish Hoek and date to between 15,000 and 12,000 years ago. Little is known of the history of the region's first residents, since there is no written history from the area before it was first mentioned by a great Portuguese who explore Bartolomeu Dias in 1486 who was the first European to reach the area and named it "Cape of Storms" (Cabo das Tormentas). It was later renamed by John II of Portugal as "Cape of Good Hope" (Cabo da Boa Esperança) because of the great optimism engendered by the opening of a sea route to India and the East. Vasco da Gama recorded a sighting of the Cape of Good Hope in 1497. In the late 16th century, Portuguese, French, Danish, Dutch and English but mainly Portuguese ships regularly stopped over in Table Bay en route to the Indies. They traded tobacco, copper and iron with the Khoikhoi in exchange for fresh meat.

Also, the city is famous for its harbour, for its natural setting in the Cape Floristic Region, and for such well-known landmarks as Table Mountain and Cape Point. As of 2014, it is the 10th most populous city in Africa and home to 64% of the Western Cape's population. It is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, reflecting its role as a major destination for immigrants and expatriates to South Africa. In 2014 Cape city was named the World Design Capital by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design and the city was also named the best place in the world to visit by both the American and the British.

Thanks for reading.
Regards.

Pinisi ship made by the famous Bugis people long ago used to explore the world.

People know Australia is an area of British colonies pioneered since 1788 as a place of exile of prisoners and prostitutes. But based on research the literature shows that Bugis have sailed to Australia to look for a tripang before European explorers reach the continent.

However, Bugis (Sulawesi) do not claim and do not make Aboriginal people as their subordinates. Unlike the English who controlled the continent of the Kangaroos.

In the history of Indonesia, the Buginese famous for the Pinisi ship had roamed the waters of the archipelago to Madagascar in Africa in the 2nd, 4th and 10th centuries. While at the time of Sriwijaya, Bugis people also sailed to Australia and Africa again in the 17th century.

People call Bugis at that time actually include sub-tribe Konjo, Mandar, Bugis and Makassar. This type of pinisi timber ship has taken an important role in the history of Indonesian shipping for centuries.

At first, Europeans were not interested in making Australia their colony. However, later England felt stricken because the most important colonies in the American continent independence in the year 1776 the United States.

Inggrisi is also troubled by their prison system that no longer can accommodate the inmates. So Australia began to ogled as a promising land for the formation of a new colony. Britain then decided to send inmates who had not been able to accommodate British prisons to Australia to be the first generation to build colonies there.

In Alwi Alatas writing, a doctorate of history at the Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia cited hidayatullah, explaining the formation of this new colony began in January 1788.
Since that year the British sent inmates to Australia gradually until the mid-19th century has sent 150,000 people. Twenty percent of these are women and work as prostitutes.

After the colony's economy began to flourish, non-prisoner immigrants from various European countries began to flock to the Australian continent. Nonetheless, it is the nuns who have embarked on modern Australian history.

The people and children of the descendants of the prisoners and prostitutes are the first generation of Australian society and society that has now developed. Since then it has opened the way for the formation of a new civilization on two very large continents of America and Australia.

nice story and with good informason @mawardi

Thank You @xpilar

The Portuguese ship Flor de la Mar (Mawar Lautan) ran aground in Indonesian waters near the Malacca Strait. Until now the ship's shipwreck is still mysterious. The ship, in its belly carrying the treasure, became an international treasure hunter.

A team of young researchers from the University of Indonesia (UI) is now trying to trace the footsteps of Flor de la Mar . On Friday (20/11) they presented the initial results of the document's research in the National Seminar of Archeology at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) UI.

Yudi Bachrioktora, a member of the young research team, said Flor de la Mar is known to have sunk in an area known as the Diamond Point, the Malacca Strait. Or in Indonesia known as Tanjung Jamboair.

"It is thus valid that the ship is sinking in Indonesian waters," he said. Previously the ship was allegedly sinking in the waters of Malaysia.

Flor de la Mar sank in December 1511 while en route to Goa, India. The ship's captain was a famous sailor from the Portuguese Alfonso de Albequerque. Alfonso was the first Portuguese and European to master the Straits of Malacca in favor of the Portuguese.

Yudi said the shipwreck after passing through the territory of Haru Kingdom (Aru) on the east coast of Sumatra. The kingdom of Haru and Malacca is a major rival in terms of international trade and ships from the west and east.

Where is the exact location of the shipwreck of Flor de la Mar? Yudi said the ship has not been found physical shipwreck.

As quotedBetween last July, UI archaeologist Ali Akbar declared Indonesian Maritime Archeology Expedition is designed to map the locations of shipwrecks throughout Indonesia. According to him, the location of Indonesia which became the sea crossing since long ago not all successful navigable for various reasons.

"There are quite a few sinking vessels such as the Portuguese, Dutch and Chinese vessels from the 1500-1800 period, estimated at 400 ships that sank in Indonesian waters, reaching a larger number if calculated as well as before and after," he said.

According to Ali Akbar, for the initial phase, it will coordinate with various relevant agencies and local governments. Furthermore, the waters will be divided into several survey areas.

"The area to be surveyed first is around the northern island of Sumatra that is also targeting the shipload of suspected shipwrecked in the region. The Malacca Strait has always been one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world One of the most hunted vessels of hunters the treasure on a sunken ship is Flor de la Mar or Flower of the Sea , "he said.

Flor de la Mar is the most sought after vessel because at the time of drowning in 1511 it contained the treasures that the Portuguese brought after conquering the Kingdom of Malacca. At the time of sailing to Portugal, the ship is expected to be hit by a storm around Aceh and has since never been traced back to its existence.

he truth about pirates and their ships is that most pirate ships were the product of theft. Secondly, most of those stolen ships would never have made history, if it wasn’t for their latter pirate status. Pirate ships could instill fear and surrender with the mere sight of their skull and crossbones flag, and none was more notorious than the Queen Anne’s Revenge.

The Queen Anne’s Revenge
Possibly the most famous pirate ship of all time, the Queen Anne’s Revenge was captained by one of the most brutal and fearsome pirates of the Golden Age of Pirates, Captain Blackbeard. According to historical records, Blackbeard was born Edward Teach, an Englishman faithful to the line of Stuart kings and queens, who named his pirate ship after Queen Anne in her honor when the throne of England and Scotland fell to the house of Hanover after her death.

The original name of the Queen Anne’s Revenge was La Concorde, a French slaving frigate, which was “acquired” by Blackbeard in one of his conquests in November 1717. Being fast and large in size, he turned La Concorde into to a fearsome pirate ship with 40 canons, naming it the Queen Anne’s Revenge.

Under Blackbeard’s command, the Queen Anne’s Revenge became notorious terrorizing the high seas, becoming so infamous that the pure sight of the pirate ship could break the spirit of Blackbeard’s enemies, who would often surrender their goods without a fight. The Queen Anne’s Revenge was so successful that she led a blockade in 1718 on the port of Charleston and in only two years, the ship became infamous and heralded into the history books.

The Queen Anne’s Revenge met a watery end off the coast of North Carolina and legend has it that Blackbeard abandoned the ship with his closest pirates taking all the best booty. The pirates that remained on board were caught by the English Navy to meet a nasty end. Nevertheless, the sinking of the Queen Anne’s Revenge did not deter Blackbeard, who returned to piracy and continued his legacy.

See this contest I am reminded of a beautiful story as I write below

The construction of the outrigger boat is very unique. Boat hulls are formed as connecting boards on the hull. Then connect to the wooden peg without using a skeleton, bolt, or iron nails. The tip of the bow and the stern of the ship shaped taper. The ship is equipped with two rudder-like rudders, as well as a rectangular screen. The Javanese ship is clearly different from the Chinese vessel whose stomach is fastened with wooden planks and iron nails. In addition the Chinese ship has a single rudder mounted on the stern rib.

Quoting from Jung Java: A collection of short stories by Rendra Fatrisna Kurniawan published by Babel Publishing, written in the preface of the 2009 book that Jung Jung, first described by the Portuguese, was a ship they captured in 1511. The Portuguese recognized Java as the origin of the giant junks. "From the Kingdom of Java came the giant Junco ships to the city of Malacca. The shape is very different compared to our ships, made of very thick wood, so that if the wood is aged then the new boards can be superimposed on it.

Tanjung Malim is famous in the land of Perak as a bandar who busts the intellectuals and warriors of the nation. In this city, too, is the origin of the rise of the spirit of nationalism among the Malays to oppose the invaders and restore the sovereignty of the Malay people in the Land of Malay. At this time, orangperak.com want to raise back the story of the history of the form of Tanjung Malim is to be more known especially for the younger generation and not forgotten the history with so sahaja. Tanjung Malim originally came from a promontory (land area of the form rather than the river), which is very wide. Tanjong Malim is a weekend located south of Perak Darul Ridzuan. This week is bordered by the country of Selangor Darul Ehsan and topographic with the land of Pahang Darul Makmur. With the background of Banjaran Titiwangsa and its weekly position on the edge of the Bernam River makes Tanjong Malim week a week of entrances to the attractive land of Perak to be viewed.

This area was originally occupied by six Bugis heroes and named as Tanjung Jambu. In about 1870, the enactment of a large civil war in the land of Pahang among two children of Pahang Treasurer named Wan Ahmad and Wan Mutahir.

Due to that, Dato 'Hj. Mustapha bin Raja Kamala who is a follower of Tok Gajah @ Imam War Rasu and he is also one of the leaders of the Rao in Gali, Raub has brought his followers among the Rao men migrated to Tanjung Malim. It is narrated that he has represented the Rao people in Gali, begging for forgiveness rather than Wan Ahmad's Treasurer because Rao and Rao are at war in Pahang.

Due to his embarrassment to Tok Gajah he also made the decision to bring all his followers to move to Tanjung Malim. Dato Hj Mustapha once ordered his men that is the Right Commander to take his cousin who still exist in Nagari City King, Rao that is Hajah Rahmah Bt. Haji Siun to be taken to Bernam or Tg. Malirn. The next Commander then married Hajah Rahmah. OIeh because the Panglima Kanan originally married a man who came from Kampung Simpang Empat Tanjung Malim, Hajah Rahmah has made a decision not to want to be combined. Caused the event the enactment of family turning. The Commander of the Right then divorces his elderly wife on the grounds that he has no zuriate along with him.

By that way, Dato 'Hj. Mustapha ordered that the Right Commander emigrate to the other side of the Bernam River where the Panglima Kanan opened the Kalumpang area in the year.

The name of this passenger is taken as the name of a principal named Kelumpang and in that area the Panglima Kanan established a placement with his followers in a place known as the current Kalumpang week. At that time also Bernam or Tanjung Malim still under the government of Selangor.

Dato 'Hj. Mustapha was inaugurated as the first Bernam or Tanjung Malim Penghulu and the Right Panglima was also installed as a servant of Bernam Penghulu. The passengers at that time were under the Tanjung Malim nomination and this was the link between Tanjung Malim and Kalumpang at that time. If the perimeter of Perak and Selangor countries has been established by following the Bernam River, Tanjung Malim is officially within the government of Perak and Kalumpang is also under the Selangor government until today. As commemorating or commemorating the services of Dato 'Hj Mustapha, the Silver Kingdom has agreed at the request of his relatives to name the road in Kampung Kubu area which is close to Tanjung Malim old bass tower, as Jalan Hj. Mustapha Bin Raja Kamala. It is proclaimed the grave of Allahyarham Dato 'Hj. Mustapha is in the area of Burial Branch, Tanjung Malim.

Once told once upon a time, the late Sultan Pahang Sultan Abu Bakar had visited the grave of Dato 'Hj. Mustapha without protocol. This is because Tun Dato Hj. Mustapha had once been the head of the Rao people in Gali and a loyal follower of Tok Gajah. The late Sultan Abu Bakar came to Tanjung Malim to honor his loyalty to the ancestor of Sultan Ahmad Shah at that time. Sempena with this vast cape position, Mr. List (the royal representative of the Strait Country) and King Itam has named this booker the name Tanjong, when Malim (mu'alim) is related to the people in Tanjong who are very diligent in worship at that time . Since the beginning again this week more recognizable as Bandar Pendidikan.

The field of education is synonymous with this week because of the presence of a high learning center here, namely the University of Education Sultan Idris (UPSI) which was originally established with the name of Sultan Idris Training College (SITC) in 1922 which triumph gave birth to a crowd of intellectuals and professionals.

In terms of the shape of his earth face, Tanjong Malim is a sloping land area and is surrounded by Bukau hill (Banjaran Titiwangsa). The position of the band is located 84 km north of Kuala Lumpur and 145 km to the southern mother of Perak, Ipoh. In addition to being recognized as Bandar Pendidikan, Tanjong Malim also has the potential to become a rapidly growing airport in the south of Perak. Based on available economic activities and industrial designs to be designed like automobiles, cultivation and cultivation industries, Tanjong Malim is destined to become a rapidly growing airport in south Perak.

This opinion, which was firstly stated, has been reinforced by the construction of a national train refinery, Proton at Bandar Proton and the construction of new residential areas, recreation areas and others.

During the Early Middle Ages

, sailboats in the Mediterranean continued to use a triangular screen developed during the Roman Empire. Over time, shipbuilders experimented with more than one pole. In the 1000s AD, Italian merchants from Venice, Genoa, and Pisa used ships with three poles, each with a triangular or lateen screen. Using three screens, the sailors more easily adjust the ship in a change of direction.

However, the Mediterranean seafarers of the Middle Ages still had unresolved issues. They want to sail south along the African Atlantic coast, to trade with West Africa using a capala instead of crossing the Sahara. It would be cheaper to bring African gold with a ship than with a camel. They can indeed sail to West Africa but can not sail back because the wind along the coast almost always blows south rather than north. In addition, medieval sailors were unable to sail further south due to the flow of water flowing north along the coast. To sail there, they must move the screen back and forth in order to sail against the wind. Portuguese shipbuilders eventually found a way of combining rectangular and lateen screens to sail downwind.

After the Portuguese shipbuilders managed to find a way of navigating the coast of Africa, they became interested in sailing across the Atlantic Saumdra, wanting to find their way to China. The Portuguese sailors have just gained the Chinese invention, the compass. Compass, coupled with astrolabes, makes it possible to know the direction of travel in the oceans even though it is away from the mainland.

But to get ready to cross the Atlantic, shipbuilders are also redesigning their screens. Vasco da Gama and Columbus use three poles, two poles with rectangular screens, and a back pole with lateen screens.

at a time when I was traveling in the pemalang. I took time to stop at the thistle beach. initially I just wanted to enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery, but I was curious about one side of the beach where there are fishers who are preparing to find fish.

IMG_0689.JPG

when I was walking I saw many people on their ships and were busy preparing fishing gear. there is also a refueling. I was amazed by the hard work of the fishermen to earn a living for their families.

IMG_0705.JPG

I am amazed from the fishermen that saaat sail them struggling to get fish and when sailing it big risk. because the weather at sea is changing.

IMG_0687.JPG

Before going home I had photos of the fishermen in certain moments

Good information with beautiful pictures @doyanphotography

For those of you who love to move in the sea

, whether it sailing, fishing, diving, or just watching the sun set amid sepoinya sea breeze, certainly not infrequently also you think of your safety. There are several aspects of safety that are often feared by society in general, as follows:

Wave Waves - The depths of the ocean make many people afraid of falling from the ship. There are many cases where even fallen people can swim, but high waves spurred panic and hindered rescue.
Drowning vessels - Many factors can cause a ship to crash, such as crashing into a rock, failing to dislodge the coordinates of a ship to collide with another ship because it can not see where it is, etc. But as the technology progresses, the smaller the number of ships that sink because it is supported by the right safety factor.
Sharks - Surveys show that 9 out of 10 people are afraid of sharks. But of all species of sharks in the world, not everything is ferocious. However, humans should be wary of the waters that become the home of these shark species.
Jellyfish - With its invisible formation, many beach tourists take the jellyfish for granted. Although there are no jellyfish in warm waters such as Indonesia, the understanding of this species is very important. The famous box jellyfish is deadly due to its attack that can paralyze its opponent. If box jellyfish attack humans, its crippling poison will cause a person to drown.
Sunburn - Sunburn (sunburn) is one of the things feared by beach and sea connoisseurs. The chances of developing skin cancer will grow gradually as it often stands under the sun without shade or sunblock. Direct effects of sunburn will also cause red skin effect, peeling, and sore.
The fear points that are often feared by humans also have more supporting factors to eradicate those concerns. Armed with knowledge of nature and the signs of marabahya at sea, the tourists can also sail or move quietly.

Here are the things that should be known before the move at sea:

Make sure the weather conditions are adequate - If you want to sail, make sure the weather conditions are adequate. The wind affects the height of the ocean waves, so know the weather forecast (rain intensity, wind direction and speed, wave height, tropical storm information, and long distances) before planning a sea voyage or activity to avoid bad weather at sea.
Know your ship well - When you are sailing or just using sea transportation to cross to another island, there are some important things you need to know besides knowing the type of boat you use. Remember well the name of the ship you use as a mode of sea transportation. Make sure the vessel is equipped by Automatic Identification System ("AIS"). AIS is a safety device that must be installed on every ship based on International Maritime Organization regulations. There is an SOS button on the AIS tool that will transmit the ship's coordinate signal to get reinforcements.

Source:
Make sure the vessel is equipped with safety equipment - The must-have safety equipment of each boat includes: buoys, boats / helper assemblies, helper vests. If the ship is sailing without the safety equipment, it is recommended that you think twice before deciding to board the vessel.
Recognize marine distress signs - When you see flags lying on the beach, they serve as a sign to tell the conditions in the ocean. Two

It used to be that sea is the most preferred means of transportation for long trips because it is fast and relatively safe

Special ships have emerged to support effective voyages, from speedboats to boats capable of loading lots of merchandise. However, the sea is not always safe. The sea can sometimes be a terrible and dangerous place. Hidden corals and weather can drown the ship, no matter how skilled the captain and his crew are. Sailors often tell of the attacks of mythical creatures and supernatural powers and myths about the power of the sea. The creepy monsters, the god of lightning and the god of the wind, and the beautiful and deadly mermaids, only a small part of the mystery at sea.

Flying Dutchman

Flying Dutchman is a myth from the Netherlands, telling of a ship whose captain wants to get a safe shortcut around the Cape of Good Hope. As a condition, he must sell his soul to the devil. However, the captain made a mistake. He forgot to ask for only one trip. As a result, he was forced to sail back and forth forever. Many are told that the sailor who saw the ship Flying Dutchman, then he or his ship will get a disaster.

Odysseus and Serena

In the Greek legend, Serena is a sea demon in the form of a half-woman half-bird whose singing captivates the sailors to forget themselves and die on the rocks. Odysseus survived. He told his sailors to close their ears with candles (night) and tie Odysseus to the mast.

Mary Celeste

Mary Celeste is an American freighter who left New York in November 1872 to Genoa, Italy. The following month, the ship was found oscillated with a screen mounted to face the storm. However, the captain and his crew were not found. Looks like they're leaving in a hurry. No one knows why.

Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle is one of the mysteries of the world-wide Western hemisphere and has for centuries kept an unsolvable story. Mystery after mystery even been recorded by the oceanic traveler Christopher Columbus. This mysterious story lies in the ocean territory of the Atlantic Ocean. Within this imaginary line the area connects three regions: the territory between the British territorial Bermuda as a point to the north, Puerto Rico, the United States territory as a point to the south and Miami, the state of Florida, the United States as a point to the west. Many mysterious stories that emerged from the place, for example the story of the loss of ships and the entire crew when sailing in an area called the Bermuda Triangle region.

However, the mystery of the disappearance of several ships and aircraft in an area called the Bermuda Triangle has now been revealed. The Bermuda Triangle is an ordinary acute gas phenomenon, according to Salem-News.com. Natural gas, just like gas produced by boiling water, especially methane gas, is the main suspect behind the loss of several aircraft and ships.

Methane, which normally froze beneath the underground rock layers, can come out and turn into a geometrically enlarged gas balloon as it moves upward. When it reaches the surface of the balloon water containing the gas it will continue to enlarge upward and outward. Any vessel trapped inside a giant gas balloon will instantly falter, losing buoyancy and being attracted to the bottom of the ocean. If the balloon is large enough and has enough density, then the plane can be hit by a fall. Airplanes trapped in giant methane balloons are likely to suffer engine damage as they are covered with methane and soon lose their lift.

Seafarers' Habits

In the past, alone in the middle of a vast ocean, a ship could not meet other vessels for days. If the ship had an accident, no one can

There was once an old man named Franz. Franz lived alone in the smallest house in the way back of his neighborhood. Franz was a grumpy old man due to the recent death of his wife. He was bitter and rude to the neighbors and made everyone he came into contact with him very upset.

Franz wasn’t always like this, though. At one time, he was very happy, he had everything he could want. He had a caring family with kids and grand kids and a wife who were all very close with each other. But his kids and grand kids are all grown up and want nothing to do with him.

All of this was upsetting to him and was driving him insane. One day, Franz stepped outside to get his mail which was just lazily at his door, so he leaned over to pick it up and fell. Franz was crying and begging to let this be the end of his suffering so he could be at peace, but he knew deep in his heart he could never be at peace without his wife. Franz over the next hour cried and cried and cried, slowly slipping into a slumber from which he would not return.

As he shut his eyes which would never open again, it began to rain. His eyes finally closed and the crying had come down to a low breath. With his final breath he said “Thank you… Monica.” He then, a few minutes later, stood up with no problems. He looked down wondering how he had all this strength, only to see his body laying down. He looked at his hands and they were just an outlined white mist with little identifying features. He was in shock. He had realized he had passed. He looked up slowly, feeling a very comforting feeling awaiting his attention. He looked up to see yet another misty figure, slowly coming into view as a transparent short figure, smiling at him. He had no idea who it was. Then, the shirt figure held out its hand and let out the all-too familiar giggle of Monica. Franz fell to his ghostly knees and started sobbing. Monica took his hands and in a whispery voice “Let’s dance in the rain like we used to.” Taking his hands and pulling him up to his feet. Looking up at him, she pulled him down and kissed his lips which just felt like static electricity, but he felt the passion and love coming off of her. Franz said “It really is you.” Then they walked to the street and held hands as they danced in the rain, smiling, singing, and laughing for the rest of eternity.

The Flying Ghost Ship at Cape Point

572d7b924e14087372de1a3bba07f2d2.preview.jpg

Over the past few centuries, a number of seafarers have come forward with reports of strikingly similar sightings of a ghoulish ship sailing in the wild waters around the tip of Cape Point on stormy nights. According to witnesses, the galleon releases rowboats filled with phantom men into the ocean and they approach passing ships with letters that they want to be delivered to their loved ones. The accounts have been linked to the tale of a vessel called the Flying Dutchman that was caught in a storm near Cape Point while journeying to Holland from Indonesia in 1641. The captain reportedly refused to turn back and swore that he would round the jagged tip of Africa even if it was the last thing he did. Which it was. The boat was destroyed and all the crew drowned that night, only instead of disappearing from the earth for good, they remained in phantom form and now haunt the waters that stole their lives… or so the unnervingly frequent sightings suggest.

I saw three of my country's warships on a dock in my city when I was a kid. The ship will sail for two months for a humanitarian mission in a very remote country. The warship is engaged in a rescue mission of a civilian vessel held hostage by pirates at African sea.

After sailing for about a month they finally arrived at their mission. The strategy of attack and liberation which had been compiled beforehand implemented. The Navy immediately carry out their respective duties.

After a very fierce battle ultimately the hostages managed to be freed and the pirates successfully conquered. My story is made in a very hurry to @xpilar.

Hi, @xpilar, here is my entry: I always liked to visit the island of Margarita. This island, located in the Caribbean Sea is also known as "The Pearl of the Caribbean". I was 8 or 9 years old and loved to travel by boat to this magical destination. The boat is a ferry that transfers passenger, light vehicles and also heavy-duty vehicles. It is far from being a cruise, of those that have swimming pools and games rooms, different restaurants, etc. However, this boat is comfortable inside. It has comfortable armchairs and tables to eat or play cards or any other board game. But for me, the real adventure was on the deck of the boat, where we were allowed to stay throughout the voyage. From there, if we're lucky, we could watch the dolphins jump on the sides of the boat. Therefore, I enjoyed both the journey and the stay on the island.

Source

On one occasion, we made the journey in the night shift; The boat departed at 8 and had to arrive at the island around 1 a.m.; Even at night, with the cold it makes, I liked to be on the deck; Seeing the starry sky (obviously could not glimpse the Dolphins). But that night, I never knew the reason, we were not allowed to go on deck and we had to do the whole trip inside the boat, which meant a great disappointment to me. As I didn't usually travel inside I felt dizzy and decomposed.

The trip usually took 5 hours, as it was a boat a bit old and slow. Like I said, we up to Earth at about 1 am. Some passengers slept comfortably in their seats; Others played at the tables, others chatted or read a book. I was playing "Telefunque" with my friends and cousins. It's my favorite card game. Around 12 pm, we felt a strange vibration on the boat, which surprisingly sloweded the speed and stopped completely. Then the engines were shut down. It was a chilling feeling, all the passengers looked at each other, wondering what was going on. We imagine the darkness outside, even on the high seas, and we are terrified at the idea of an imminent maritime accident. To our surprise, everything was fine. We had reached our final destination an hour ahead of schedule.

Ja ja ja y yo asustada de que algo les había pasado 😀

sííí jejeje eso pensamos, gracias por comentar mi amiguita @marpa!

THE STORY IS SAVE
I once sailed to kesebuah island in aceh, I sailed with my friends to spend time off on the island of weh.
we left by motorbike to the port of ule le and then we sailed to the island weh.
a very nice thing when sailing and was in kawanin by dolphins.
like that is my yachting story.

Thank @xpilar for this contest.

It seems that they live apart from the rest of the people, in their friendly united society, as if they live on a remote island.
Their faith does not allow them much: they can not watch TV, wear bright clothes, make-up and even laugh loudly.
They can marry only believers.
But they are happy and enjoy life in their own way.

They pray a lot.
But prayers did not help in one of the families to save the eighth child, he was born dead.
They say that God knows best, and we do not know how the life of this child would have developed.
They cry, but still thank God for everything, for their seven healthy, smart and beautiful children...

I sit on a bench on the shores of the cold northern sea and look at the red sunset. And it seems to me that the sky becomes purple-red, and the air around is heated, becomes thick and hot.

And I imagine that I'm sitting on the ocean, in far africa. And just in the distance is the beautiful city of Cape Town, where the sun always shines. And where the water in the ocean is never cold.

I know that I will never go to Africa. But I can dream about it, because the sea is everywhere equally beautiful.

His photo reminds me when the conquerors arrived to discover America, I just do not understand how they could discover something that already existed hahaha.

In my story, I will change the story.
And the 3 caravels arrived called, the Pinta la Niña and the Santa María, they came from Spain looking to colonize, what they did not expect was a tribe prepared for battle.

With their arrows and shields they managed to stop the attack of the colonizers and break them, and all the crew that survived stayed gladly is that paradise called the new world, and so a new race was created and we were part of the miscegenation.

Actually, the story was different, but I like to think that it was like that.
Thank you all, vote and share.
Greetings from Venezuela.

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Biana.

She used to lived in her beautiful house with a beautiful garden in front. Many butterflies, dragonflies, ants, bees, beetles visited her garden. Biana’s garden was very beautiful and attractive with many flowers and fruits. Animals, birds, and worms, too, had made it their permanent home. Biana soon started to love each one of them. She used to take care of each one of them. But among all, the baby squirrel was Biana’s best friend.

One sad day, squirrel fell sick, and everyone became unhappy as she couldn’t walk, talk or eat. Biana, too, got very tense and could not think what to do. “Do not worry Biana, I will soon get well,” squirrel said in a soft voice. “Yes, baby squirrel, I am praying to God to offer you good health. My dear, please drink this herbal soup and take a nap,” replied Biana.

After few days passed by, the baby squirrel recovered. Now she could run, jump, talk, walk and hop. Biana and all the others were very happy after seeing the squirrel so happy! The baby squirrel came to Biana and said, “Thank you Biana, for taking good care of me.

You have a very kind heart. I love you.” Biana held baby squirrel, kissed her forehead, and said, “I love you too, dear!” All were very happy and they lived together joyfully.
