Have you ever won off the radio? Have you ever ~really~ even tried?
I’ve won three times in the last month alone, and I am here to give you some quick tips that will hopefully show you how easy and fun it is to win – easy AND fun prizes from various radio stations!

I never knew how easy it was to win off the radio. It takes little-to-no effort to be eligible to win some pretty amazing prizes; such as vacations/ concerts/& entertainment packages. I stumbled onto this new hobby (if you can call it that) just less than a year ago, and I have won five times already. HOW?! You ask?
The answer is: with very little effort, a lot less than you would imagine in fact. To be 100% honest, all I did was try; you may be thinking to yourself, “I’ve never won any contests like that before” or “It’s probably just a scam to get your information” …maybe even “I have tried, but I never get through, so why bother?” … if that’s you, it doesn’t have to be. Just start believing that it -is- possible and the doors will open up on their own!
Tip/Trick: There are several ways to win prizes off of the radio!
- Calling in!
— By calling into the radio station one of several things can happen — 1) You get a busy tone 2) A couple short rings which then goes to a busy tone 3) The operator will not be able to complete your call, and you will receive an automated message stating this 4) It rings constantly for minutes – which could either result in someone picking up (very good odds…it’s at least better than a busy tone) or it ending in a busy tone 😦 — (possibly because the contest ended. 5) You actually get through — but are also not the correct caller in their que. 6) YOU GET THROUGH!! - Online
— Most of the popular music stations have tons of online contests and sweepstakes to participate in! It’s as easy as signing in to facebook or an email account; once you are signed into their site you can start to accumulate points which can then be spent on entries to contests such as these current prizes/tickets from 98.7’s website.

–A cool application that can be used to text/call/send pictures etc… to anyone/anywhere in the world -FOR FREE- — Cool to have just by itself, but also if you connect with the radio station’s Line Me – it will give you the opportunity to learn of secret contests not available on the radio or streaming live @ iHeart Radio.

— My personal favorite (since I don’t live in my car… or the 90’s – no handheld radio for me, thank you very much) I work 10 hour days as a Jr CG Artist for a Post Production Commercial House. So as you can imagine… I get my radio fix via streaming through iHeart Radio. So, if this sounds like you; there is still hope!

This new curiosity of mine ALL began last February when I won my first contest from Jack FM’s 93.1 Radio Station Contest.

I was running late while driving into work that day, when a contest blasted over my radio to be caller 13 and win a trip to Fantasy Springs Casino!
IF you listen to Jack; you know this is a promotion they give away all the time! Imagine my shock as I called in and was caller 13, not 11…not 12…but lucky number 13. This won me the trip for two: For the Fantasy Springs Hotel & Casino package, that included a two night stay – dinner for 2 – and – golf for 2.
This was a total of a $600 value!
Was is legit? - It totally was!!

We definitely took advantage of the dinner for two; and with the promotions the casino gave us upon our arrival ($10 Free Slot Play + $10 off any restaurant in the casino -EACH) We practically ate, played and lounged for free. We barely spent anything out of pocket except for the bowling alley and ice cream.
A MUST. Of course.
The golf passes were each a $100 value. I took golfing lessons when I was a teenager and still have my clubs today, but it felt like too much of a hassle to play on this course as well as golf with two people who have never played an 18-hole golf course before. So I ended up giving them away to a fellow gifted piano player who was kind enough to join and play along side with me for nearly an hour, while my mom and cousin relaxed and soaked in the tunes.
I got kicked off this piano, cause it's just a player piano..boo

Tip/Trick: Stations that give out the most prizes

— With Ryan Seacrest and Ellen K: I’ve listened to this station and checked out the site, I would have to say that this station gives out the MOST prizes and has the more contests every hour than any other station. If you feel differently, please comment below!98.7 ALT
— The Wooden Show! – I really enjoy this morning show; and when you listen they have several contests throughout the whole duration of their podcast. I even almost got through once, but had bad signal as was told I couldn’t participate in their game “Craigslist – Price is Right” without full signal, and was thusly disconnected. Poor me. Oh well, I just got back up and keep trying.106.7 KROQ

(I won two VIP Tickets to go see Brian Setzer @ the Nokia Theater! – I won these by participating in an online contest and had only submitted one entry) – (Brian Setzer is a swing/jazz/blues band from the 90’s.
