It sounds like a good plan although it seems like one has to pay attention to when it seems to be failing can be a problem. I wonder what the blood clot risk is with the device. Unfortunately, no device is safe or works all the time.

There is a heightened risk of blood clots with it, also they wouldn't give you one if you've had a blood clot before. No device is 100% safe, that's for sure :)
