This is sad, can understand the feeling and I suppose in time it's going to get worse. How do you think things are going to evolve in 5 - 10 years in this regard? As there's no turning back now.

It really depends if you think models have peaked or not, if they have peaked and now we are only going to see marginally better models I expect that harnesses will become better and costs will drive down, I expect much leaner orgs as people manage fleets of agents rather than employees.
I honestly think that there will be a mass tech grave as now one dev can do the work that required 10 before. We're already seeing lots of AI related layoffs (with mixed results today, but what about tomorrow ?)
