March 12th 2020 , Earlier when I posted about the corona virus situation in India it stood at 3 and those 3 were cured at that time, but now the number stands at 74.
The count grew as Tourists and Indians returned from Europe during the past weeks.
In most offices, hand sanitizers and hand wash dispensers have been set up so that overall hygiene level is increased. Emails are circulated every 3 days so that all the people are aware of what needs to be done to prevent catching the infection.
Schools, supermarkets and Movie theaters have been closed.
In airports thermal scan and temperature check is being done so as to catch the infected as soon as they arrive to India.
Medical staff at airports and railway stations have been ramped up.
People have been advised to not attend events where there are mass gatherings, and travel to and from other states within the country has greatly reduced.
Cruise ships from certain countries have been banned from docking at the ports. E visas have been cancelled for several tourists who had planned to visit India.
Overall I really hope the spread of the virus slows down and stops quickly. So that all of us in the World can return to our normal lives.
