The coronavirus pandemic showed the true nature of our current society.
Toilet paper hoarding, insane news coverage, pointed fingers and lockdowns showed us where we stand.
Domestic violence, drug and alcohol usage, online gambling and other unhealthy behaviors increased during the lockdown.
People panic shopped, blamed one another, lost their jobs and in general became weaker. This discord in the media did us no good. We fought one another and protested the lockdown. The media made chaos on the airwaves.
Large cities and densely packed regions became sites of massive infection. A city like New York or Seattle is no place you want to be in a pandemic.
I hadn't thought we would see a pandemic and economic shutdown like this. Our economy is weaker today, and we have a long road to recovery. The pandemic unveiled our beastial nature and has taught us what to expect next time.
