Based on the below heatmap, there are only three confirmed cases in Africa:
- Egypt
- Algeria
- Nigeria
Zooming into the reported cases:
Egypt
the affected person was a "foreigner" who did not show any serious symptoms.
The nationality is not clearly defined but based on the provided image from the source looks like an Asian nationality.
Algeria
Algeria’s government has confirmed one case of the coronavirus in the country amongst two suspected cases of Italian citizens
The suspected cases were two Italian nationals aged 55 and 61 years old.

The case is an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and returned from Milan, Italy to Lagos, Nigeria on the 25th of February 2020
It's because of reporting. And testing. African countries don't have the technology or linked into the world health care system. Doubt any corona virus test kits made it there.. especially since the USA has only used 400 of them.

I am in South Africa and we are more than capable and have the technology to deal with the outbreak...so I disagree with your statement. Africa is not a jungle like many outside world think of it.
Why is no reporting coming from the third world of Africa? Oh yeah they don't have much for hospitals. South Africa and eqypt and Morocco? Do believe those are the last remaining African countries that are able to function.
But again with the historic issues all countries have earned the reputation you carry.
.you can be offended all you want but you can't alone change the facts that have lead to that label.
When Africa catches up and is done with the brutality? Let me know.
And how is the South African land grab and violence going? I'm hearing most of south Africa is on fire. Let alone the sexual violence of south Africa.
So are you saying that you have plenty of virology and Corona virus test kits? I'd love to see a write up on how prepared you are.
We here in the USA have plenty of money technology and doctors. And are woefully prepared. So I can't see how you can even think you are capable of being infected on such a scale.
Just thinking that you are needing to learn some about the world. Even the USA is going to burn and can't prepare even though we have been prepping for nearly 100 years and the warnings we had.
And you think south Africa is going to be ok.
After this burns through I'd love to have a conversation with you. I'm sure you will feel different.
Hoping you think about this a bit. No one in the world is ready for this. not a single country is going to escape.
