A new bad story. French Ligue 1 season is cancelled due to coronavirus, and its huge effect in France.
Yesterday, the French Prime Minister 'Edouard Philippe' confirmed that no sporting events will be held in France, at least before September, therefore cancelling both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons.
Football in France was suspended at the start of March due to the coronavirus. However, plans were to resume the football back on June 17. But, the high number of cases in France which reached today 165,911 along with 23,660 cases has forced the country to delay the resumption of Sports until September...
We hope that from now to September, the number of coronavirus cases will reduce day after day, and all football and sports events will get back to normal track
