There are many possibilities and only time will reveal them.
I'm on the fence about 5G. It would be nice if we could find healthier frequencies to use, but our understanding of the Universe is simply too infantile at this point.

Personally I would be happy with simply a dedication to long-term, small-scale testing before rolling out any kind of new tech that is/may be harmful. We know the military/DARPA are a few decades ahead anyway, why not spend some of that time on safety testing.
Maybe just give people clear & honest warnings about what they're getting themselves into when they start using one of these new toys, instead of always calling them "safe," including hidden clauses to protect the corporations for liability, and then pretending to be surprised when the results come in a decade later. -- Of course that one is trickier with something like 5G, where the use of it necessitates forcing the effects on everyone. There's no option to only install towers within range of the people who want it.
I 100% agree and the media should issue a warning whenever they talk about the tech, just like on a pack of cigarettes.
But, they aren't hiding the possible harm it causes. I just bought a pair of two-way radio's recently. When reading the instructions and warnings it clearly states to point it away from you and hold it beyond a certain distance from yourself when operating, because the frequencies are known to be harmful.
The problem here is that they are installing emitters way stronger than two-way radios all over the place without asking for the public's consent. So I completely see this tech as harmful and your points about it being forced on us.
We should be consulted and a consensus reached before they are installed, instead of having to protest afterward, while starting a lengthy legal battle afterwards, which we usually lose anyway.
Central Authority is definitely more harmful than useful.
