WHO resuscitate the Corona-Fear Campaign With Dire Warning

Just as much of the World begins to ease Lockdown and re-open society, the World Health Organisation (WHO) give a warning to the World:

"Let me be blunt, we head too many countries in the wrong direction, the virus remains public enemy number one...

Sky News[5]...If basics are not followed, the only way this pandemic is going to go: it is going to get worse and worse and worse.

There will be no return to the old normal for the foreseeable future ... There is a lot to be concerned about." [1]

WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus made the statements at a virtual briefing from the U.N. agency's headquarters in Geneva.

But it's not just the WHO attempting to resuscitate the fading fear back into the hearts and minds of populations, the media has been doing their best to ensure there is a daily dose of virus fear for the public to drool over.

Here are just some highlights of the latest fear-porn ozing out of the press.

The South China Morning Post reported yesterday that the Chinese embassy was getting nervous about a spike in pneumonia cases over the last five weeks.

“The death rate of this disease is much higher than the novel coronavirus. The country’s health departments are conducting comparative research into the pneumonia virus, but have yet to identify it,” the embassy said in a warning to Chinese citizens in the country. - Forbes[2]

A new strain of the H1N1 swine flu virus is spreading silently in workers on pig farms in China and should be “urgently” controlled to avoid another pandemic, a team of scientists says in a new study. - New York Times[3]

A 15-year-old boy on Sunday died of suspected infection of bubonic plague in the western Mongolian province of Govi-Altai, according to the country's National Center for Zoonotic Diseases - Xinhuanet[4]

The long-term effects of COVID-19, even on people who suffered a mild infection, could be far worse than was originally anticipated, according to researchers and doctors in northern Italy.

The doctors warn that some victims may never recover from the illness and that all age groups are vulnerable. - Sky News[5]

I could literally go on indefinitely with breaking news stories on the subject of other viruses or new 'scary' realisations on the current pandemic, there seems to be no end to it.

To anyone paying attention, this is exactly what you would have expected. We are supposed to be afraid; we are supposed to obey the rules and await the magical vaccine from our lord and saviour, Bill Gates.

But we didn't, we began to ask questions, we began to wonder why hospitals were empty, why the numbers were no worse than bad Influenza season, we then wondered why on earth their Governments decided to make the decision to do what they did, i.e lockdown society, which will inevitably cause more deaths and misery than a bad cold ever could.

So sure enough, they now need to ramp the pressure up and kick-start this baby back into action!

I've said for some time, I expect things to get a lot worse over the coming months, this is not going away anytime soon, they even make this perfectly clear, as Tedros from the WHO said:

There will be no return to the old normal for the foreseeable future ... There is a lot to be concerned about.[1]

I'd go one step further and say things will NEVER go back to the old normal. This is not to say I have given up all hope, but the old normal will never return.

In order for us to overcome this restructuring of the Global human society it will take for a lot of people to wake up and understand exactly what is going on, and indeed has been going on for a very long time.

It will take for a mass awakening, which will mean even if we succeed, normality as we once knew, will be gone forever.

Or is this just a lame attempt to cover up the catastrophic decision making that's occurred to date?
