Meanwhile here in Thailand we've had only 58 deaths IN TOTAL IN 8 MONTHS in a country of 70 million. Why are the borders still locked tight? Because they BELIEVE the stupid western charade and are terrified. So we are in economic freefall with a rising suicide rate. Tourist places like Phuket are 90% abandoned with business unlikely to return. Chinese investors are hovering and prepared to pay ANY stupid price for a "holiday" as soon as it is possible.
One shakes her head and applies another strong coffee.
I used to think that if everyone had the infomation, we would collectively make better decisions. Truth is it's about bias and thought control and most people wanting simply to be told what to do. The sheeple deserve what they get! And the rest of us are scrambling to create a more autonomous life.
Did I say coffee?? 11.30am Sunday so it's not only allowed, but required.
Well, I'm very sorry to hear that's the situation in Thailand, a beautiful country with many wonderful people. There's a rot in the "leadership" of almost every nation today, and it's systemic, global, insidious, creeping through all human societies.
I certainly appreciate your comment, though. I hope you enjoy the coffee!
Coffee is wonderful and we always KNEW we would need to see the collapse of the old order before something new and different could arise. All the apolocalpyse movies fail to show THIS part - the unravelling and the steady failure of systems. We need to keep our eyes on the Big Picture and be aware that's what's happening - and NOT prop it up! In fact, we just need to focus on building the new... cos that's what will survive.
One day at a time.

Yes, we have to be the change, and withdraw support from the corrupt and broken legacy system. Bring on a new world order, I say! One that works for the people and is based on Liberty and voluntary association, not more collectivism based on coercion and violence. The old world order has to go.
