Increased positive covid-19 tests justify further harsh lockdowns, according to government

Amidst a quiet flurry of mobile testing (mainly of young people with no symptoms), British Columbia loudly announced a record-high 139 new cases of COVID-19 today.

According to an article by Canada's state news agency, the number of active cases is now the highest ever at 1415. The number of patients in BC hospitals with COVID-19 has risen to 42 - the highest since May. 14 are currently in intensive care. There have been no new deaths.

Earlier this week, I pointed out that 2 deaths over a 4 day period had prompted a new round of lockdowns and restrictions. When I spoke to a family member and some people in the community, all agreed that the latest measures go too far, and aren't supported by the reality of the situation. People in my town are fed up, and rightly so.

In the same article mentioned above, perhaps to head off any grumbling or pushback...

"Everybody's tired of COVID-19"

As the COVID-19 caseload continues to rise with no signs of the curve of infection flattening, 'Health Officer' Bonnie Henry urges everyone to play it safe and stick to reliable sources for information about the virus. "Let's all make those right choices that will help keep cases low," she said.
'Health Minister' Adrian Dix echoed that advice, saying that while everyone is tired of restrictions, large gatherings need to stop. "Everybody's already tired of it, and there's a long way to go," he said. "Each one of us probably has a list of things we can't do that we'd like to. It's not forever." The rule should be 'stick to six' — only interact with the same six people.

So they're warning people not to listen to anyone else for information or analysis on the topic, pushing the "we are all in this together" narrative, and announcing that this is going to last for years. Oh yeah, and trivializing the lockdown of a planet, and shaming people for wanting to be free of abitrary limitations on their liberty. Did I miss anything?

As Canadian and U.S. officials consider whether to extend the border closure for non-essential travellers, Henry said she would not support a complete reopening. "We still believe that visiting for recreational reasons is very risky right now and would advocate to keep the border closed."

Who are these tyrannical unelected 'officials' working for? How did they get to be controllers of our nations?

Meanwhile, Henry said that health officials are still learning about the long-term health effects of COVID-19. She said there has been an increase in cases in younger people, who tend to have mild symptoms, but later there can be an impact on the heart, blood vessels and lungs, as well as profound fatigue. It's been "extremely challenging" for some people who fell ill in March and still haven't been able to return to normal activity, Henry said. Doctors aren't able to say whether these effects are permanent.

Nothing beats finishing off a propaganda piece with a big serving of fear, eh?

Okay then, here's a little spin of my own.

It's the same data presented before, without the distractionary addition of irrelevant numbers of positive test results. Suddenly ramping up testing - then hyping the increase in positive test results - is clearly being done to justify unnecessary and society-destroying restrictions.

That's the big picture.

Many are starting to see through the lies, propaganda, social engineering, and brainwashing. Here's how I see it:

The bad news is that the last 1/3 is going to fight to keep their paradigm intact.

Anything to keep their control over people.

That CBC article is disturbing. Reading through it, yeah, you really get the picture that it's all about control. More people are seeing it, now.
