Literal Shitpost. Thanks Corona

I went to the shops yesterday and was delighted to see that toilet paper is back!

My joy waned quickly as I was faced with a dilemma:

Shop staff set the few remaining tissues next to large containers of cat litter.

That got me thinking: wouldn't it be more sustainable to start shitting in a box for the near future?

Who knows when TP will be available again - or ever.

I did the only reasonable thing: use date to make an informed decision:

Data is normalized (maximum = 100, minimum = 0) over a period starting 01.01.2020 up until 04.04.2020. Data shows a median of 2, a mean of 12,8 and a standard deviation 20,5.

Toilet paper hoarding seems to be over and choosing tissues over cat litter was the reasonable thing to do.

Here is Kyle Hill putting TP hoarding into perspective:

Stay save. And, ummm, stay away, I guess? ¯___(ツ)____/¯

I really don't get all this toilet paper fuss. If you run out just use your hand and then wash it. Or just leave it as is 😱

The world has gone mad. That's what's going on here

haha jesus, resorting to shitting in some cat litter, truly the worst to come of this pandemic 🤣

Isn't it funny how thin the veneer of civilization is? A bigger thing happens and we are turning feral within weeks

It's feels like society is the most potent evolution-causing environment. It has evolved ( or devolved ) us very rapidly to forget our instincts and turn us into stupid chimps not capable of logical reasoning in stressful times.

But, you know, we have comfy beds now so it might be worth it :^)

That looks like Aldi. I miss Aldi

That's a Lidl. Close enough ;)
