All along, the mainstream media and many world leaders have claimed Sweden was failing to protect their people with a strict lockdown. Countries that did lock down lost their entire economies, most of their small businesses will never re-open, and there have been untold collateral deaths as well as the officially counted ones.
Sweden let their people manage their risks themselves. No lockdown, limited border closure, limited social distancing, public education as information became available. Deaths were fairly high at first, but have tapered off to nearly zero, and now Sweden is close to falling off the "10 worst countries" list. Their critics have fallen silent, as it is no longer possible to claim Sweden's tactic is incorrect. They are in full recovery with no threat of a second wave!
Lockdowns not only don't prevent covid-19 deaths, they appear to be causing additional covid-19 deaths (not to mention deaths to suicide and treatable illness going untreated)!
Even though lockdowns and associated measures clearly are NOT working, mandatory masks, contact tracking, social engineering, and vaccinations are only accelerating in the USA, Canada, and other associated Western countries.
It appears the entire covid-19 pandemic (and response) is a massive political maneuver conducted by the deep state and elite global powers, as part of a plot to take over society.
Sweden was right, but you'll never hear that from the 6 O'clock news.

Certainly appears to be that way. What really freaks me out about that is it means (they) are willing to go any lengths to come out on top. But we knew that after 9/11 and the reaction to it.

The numbers appear to show that lockdowns, in general, are associated with increased fatalities.
It's freaky how they got their foot in the door and the gradual changes from that point that most people don't notice. Most people are traumatized and fucked up and blindly eating up what the media and appointed health czars are telling them. But luckily people are looking to others for what to do, so let's lead the way.
I noticed the announcements in the shops (and the signs) getting creepier and creepier. Today it said "as we settle into our new normal..." Quite a change from just reassurances that the store is clean, the shelves are stocked and it's business as usual. Now it's just a voice overhead barking orders. That's the point of them. They want people to make themselves sick with stress and unhappiness and to blame it on COVID. People should have a healthy lifestyle: home-cooked nutrition, socialization, sunshine, exercise, meditation and deep breathing, and healing music and less screens and social media.Sweden is still worse off than their Neighbours like Denmark and Norway, who did lockdown the country x)
If they locked down their country, they're facing another round of infections and deaths. Sweden is not.
So its better to have a shit ton of dead people than to have a second wave and manage that aswell? xD

Manage it? Like... draw it out so that it destroys the economy? Is that really managing anything? Is it a sustainable plan? Everybody in Sweden has had the virus now - their final death toll is known. The countries you mentioned not only have destroyed their economy and way of life, they have yet to see the final death toll.
Denmarks economy have been better, but we have also poured a lot into a care package/releif package for other countries such as Italy x)
Not sure where you get your data mate, but I live in Denmark. Everything is almost back to normal x)
And yes maybe we haven't seen the final death toll, but how can you be sure Sweden have? and again firs wave close to 700 dead in Denmark, second should be less since we now know how to deal with COVID better + our Hospitals are not fully packed anymore.

I was at home for 5 weeks and I got paid fully. Nobody have had a problem getting their medical care here x)
