Hoping for a speedy recovery for you from here out. I think I mentioned in your last post on this that it took me about 4 weeks to get rid of that dry cough. I couldn't lay down for the most part and had to fall asleep sitting up. Sometimes I would get so uncomfortable sitting up while trying to sleep I would be able to then lay down, so tired the raspy hard breathing wasn't deterring me.
You didn't say, but how long does an inhaler last you? Also, have you tried drinking something really hot while closing yourself off in the bathroom with the shower on as hot as possible for the steem? Please don't try if you think will cause an asthma attack, but it helped me a little breaking up the unbreakable. The nighttime sleep cough syrup seemed to eat away at the drainage that stuck to the back of my throat at that time. Once again, not sure if there is anything in those that would aggravate your asthma, but maybe if not it will help you temporarily stop that sticky drainage.
