It was a significant turning point in my life that marked the beginning of a new chapter after completing my NCE program. As I reflect upon that period, I realize that it was a moment experience and transformation that shaped my sense of independency and maturity.
During my college years, I was exposed to different courses and ideas that expand my view on life. I had the opportunity to relate with folks from different backgrounds and ethnic groups, and walks of life. This particular experience and exposure allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the world and my place in it.
My academic curriculum challenged me to think critically and pushed me to explore new areas of knowledge. Being in college helped me to learned to handle my time efficaciously, and also helped me in balancing multiple commitments, and take full responsibility for my own learning. These skills not only enhanced my academic performance but also instilled a sense of self-reliance and independence.
High institution provided me with several opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities and pursue my passions in music. Apart from music I was able to learn Abit about sound engineering allowed me to develop a skill, collaborate with others, and take on new responsibilities. Through these experiences, I gained confidence in my abilities and felt a sense of empowerment.
Living away from home during college further contributed to my sense of independence. Being responsible for managing myself as a person before talking about my own finances, cooking my meals, and taking care of daily chores taught me valuable life skills. Have seen where young boy at my age order for food in school instead of cooking but I just had to navigate the challenges of living independently even though it was challenging, such as finding a balance between work,studies and personal life, and also adapting to new environments.
A particular moment stands out as a defining moment of independence. It was the day I started earning for myself and buying things for myself that I could call my own was overwhelming. It was a symbol of my transition into adulthood and a good representation of my independence. From that day onward, I was responsible for my own well-being and creating a standard that reflected my personality and values.
Since then, I have continued to embrace opportunities that allow me to grow and assert my independence. Whether it is taking on new challenges at work, pursuing further education, or making important life decisions, I approach them with confidence and a sense of self-assurance.
The first time I felt independent or older than my age was after completing my college program. It marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life, where I embraced responsibility, self-reliance, and a sense of empowerment. The lessons and experiences from that period continue to shape my outlook on life and influence the way I navigate the world. The combination of academic growth, personal development, and the experience of living independently contributed to this transformative journey.
