Hello hivers, I'm gonna share with you how we surprised my dear friend Kaye on her birthday. ๐
Last April Kaye invited us for her birthday. We immediately say yes as this birthday means a lot to her since her boyfriend finally came back to Cebu after 2 years.
She was very anxious on where to celebrate her birthday as it is still pandemic and some of the resort has a lot of restriction. She check from one Resort to another and finally found one at Vaรฑo Beach Resort located in Marigondon Lapu-lapu City.
We had already set the date and planned and paid the resort. Since Lapu-lapu is far, Jerome decided to invite us to stay at his condominium for the night before Kaye's birthday. I've waited for my other two friends which are Yor and John so we can go there together as I don't want to go there alone. Once we get there we had a chance to roam around the market and bought some items that we need for Kaye's birthday.
We had a little tour of the condo and catch up with these 3 gay friends of mine. ๐๐
So proud of these 3, I actually didn't imagine having a great connection with them as well as with Kaye. We have different attitudes and have different opinions on everything but our common denominator is we are all understanding and giving in every situation. Just a little bit of history, our friendship started during the start of the pandemic. We agreed mostly about our work environment.
So enough of the history, lol.
So that afternoon we planned on how we serenade her or what we called "maรฑaneta", we set the time and her boyfriend acted mad at her the day before so she was not expecting that he will come, but that was the part of the plan. We bought her a cake and also balloons. And the next day on her actual birthday we woke up around 3:45 am and her boyfriend waited for us outside and we headed to their house. Her mom was already awake and open the door for us and we started singing a happy birthday song to Kaye. She was really surprised and was not expecting to see her boyfriend. We are so happy that this surprise made her day and we had a great time that time and now I can't wait to see them again since it's been a month that I haven't seen them.
