The rainy season is here...
...and that means water drops on everything which is pretty cool for shooting macro. Hopefully it won't get boring over the next four to six months which is how long it might be before the sun comes out again.
Fortunately, my camera and macro lens are both pretty well water sealed, so at least I can have a little fun while I wait. The first photo in this post is for the Macro Monday photo contest by @derangedcontests professional tier.

Those are gorgeous! I have been obsessed with water droplet photos myself lately and did a couple of posts full of them. I'm glad you mentioned hoping people don't get bored with them, because I was having the same thought now that those of us in the PNW have gone under the clouds for the duration. I look forward to seeing pictures of water drops on bugs. I have one I got after a random July rainstorm.
Now let's see yours! :)
Hey cool, you did it... waterdrops on a bug! I think I was kind of joking but you've shown me it is possible. I'm going to work on this idea if I can! :-)
You totally should! I am still using my phone camera, but I bet you will get some awesome shots with your real one. I can only get close-ups of things that don't mind being ogled from a few inches away, since the phone camera doesn't zoom in very far.

Oooohhhh....
Raindrops keep falling on my
headflowers, ...I mean... flowers!Saw the sun for a few hours today, but then cloudy and cold. I wish the rain would fall somewhere else - or how but only at night... there's an idea, right?
Lol... I'm keeping fingers crossed here - haze seems to be liftfing, I actually could see the city's few buildings from my home window again - yayyy! Fingers staying crossed.... 🤞
Oh, I'm glad to hear the air quality is improving!
