As a bag designer i want to teach my Steemit friends how to make this simple and beautiful wallet. This wallet can size two phones comfortably and even has a space for Debit cards.

You can make this purse using a normal sewing machine and even ordinary gum but I will recommend a sewing machine.

MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Leather of choice
  • Pencils
  • Scissors
  • Gum
  • Measuring tape
  • Magnet
  • Matchine oil

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

STAGE 1

  • This is the first step and its all about marking and cutting the desirable size on the material (leather) of choice.

STAGE 2

  • These are the materials I'll be working with and the sizes are shown in the pictures below.

STAGE 3

  • Next step is to place the last two small pieces on one of the wallet sides as shown below. After placing you gum or stitch them together.

  • Picture below shows how it'll look after stitching.

STAGE 4

  • Apply gum on the sides of the wallets as shown below. Note that even if you're following the stitching method, its necessary to gum it first so as to aid you while stitching it together.

  • After the gum application, place it carefully on each other as shown below.

STAGE 5

  • At this stage, you'll be stitching the sides together. I prefer to stitch from the back because it'll be easier to bend and control the stitch curves.

  • Resulting look.

STAGE 6 (FIXING OF MAGNET)

  • Find the middle and mark it. The middle from the picture below is 3.5 inches.

  • Make two small puncture and insert the magnet.

  • Fix the magnet and tighten it down.

  • To fix the other piece of the magnet, add little bit of oil or gum to the tip of the magnet you have fixed and press it gently together. After which you'll have an accurate spot of where to fix the other piece of the magnet.

*Follow the same process to fix the other piece of the magnet.

FINAL LOOK.

  • At this stage, our purse is done.

Really a well done post, a great tutorial and the final product is very cool. Beautiful shade of green, that is one of my favorite colors.
