Chinese officials have arrested 26 suspects, who allegedly smuggled worth $80 million smart phones from Hong Kong to South China.
This group used to smuggle 15 thousand smartphones in one night. The phones that were smuggled according to the authorities are mostly refurbished iphones.
These groups used drone to travel the distance of 200 meters (660 ft). 10 smartphones were placed in a bag attached to a drone.
These groups used to do their job after midnight to avoid the views of the authorities.
According to the Daily Legal Report, it is the first crime of its nature. Its the first time in China, the smuggling of smartphone has happened through drone.
