Masks are harmless of course. So are anti-covid no bail policies to keep jails properly socially distanced.
Put the two together and you have a perfect combination of incentives for people to smash and grab with impunity. Odds are high they won’t get caught because they’re wearing masks and hoodies. Odds are high they won’t get stuck in jail because of socially distanced jails.
