Welcome on Hive @crowdpunk

Not quite new, just came out of the bottle in a new outfit! ;)

@arcange where do you get data analysis on hive? How many accounts? Unique users? Max followers? Max daily users etc?

Thanks for your answer. I was looking for some more visualized data then the block explorer, that reveals some relevant metrics such as. How many active users, account growth, uses with most followers, also important dead or dormant accounts etc. There must be some data analyst around that could help. Who would that be?

From the blockchain ;)

That is a smart answer, but my question is who on hive visualizes that data or creates some sort of readable content related to users and user growth. I remember you being able to clearly state when the date of most user activity was as and what it is now. Where is that available. Some link would be nice.

Here is the requested link: https://docs.hivesql.io 😉

Thanks for your reply again. I am struggling with HIVE. I showed up and engaged with the HIVE members I met in person who all had a big mouth how awesome it is. @louis88 @starkerz @ssekulji @detlev @crimsoncladReality so far, not one single one but @arcange is responsive. it's been 10 days which feel like picking someones nose to get some proper stats. Finally I am advised to sign up for HiveSQL. I get it, I need a HBD for that. If I search: How to get HBD on Hive there is not one single post as to how to get them from a DEX or any other instructions. This is a shot in the air folks. Having a race car at a conference is plain silly if there is not even a post available on a blogging platform on how to do stuff... Step up your game folks. I only have limited patience.

There are a lot of front ends, and each come with their way to do stuff so a set single post on how to use Hive is a little impossible; but I agree, it can be really hard to find step by step explainers for each platform- which is definitely not great UX. As for responsiveness, sorry on my part- I've basically been travelling home over that time (a three day affair, lol) and then have been in meetings with people who want to integrate/build here ever since. I'm definitely pulled in a lot of directions as a volunteer, which absolutely means my engagement suffers as a result. I used to be a content creator like you, until I took a volunteer core growth position to the knee!

I have to admit, skimming your post, you do know how to word things to get people to bristle, and that's definitely a skill~ dead community it is not, by far, but I do like the ... out of the box... style approach to dragging followers back to web2. Working your way into communities here means getting to know people~ I know that you wouldn't expect to have no followers on Youtube but demand your first video would bring in hundreds, so it's probably good to temper your expectations because the social game is a human game; what we want to do is build better technology that puts you in better control of how you get to live and connect as that human first and foremost.

Devil's advocate to that end though, what you CAN expect from Youtube is an interface that tells you HOW to use it to begin building a following. Depending on the type of crosschain superstar content you want to make, I highly recommend PeakD or Ecency for long form posts which both have lots of helpful FAQ and guidance UI, 3spk (which I see you've found) or VimmTV for cool live streaming options- and starting out going around and getting to know people. One of the easiest ways is searching communities for likeminded people and saying hi (comments are the easiest way to start, both with friends and small earnings), or even checking out the #introduceyourself tag for how people are saying hi to the community :)
