The App is funtional, but underdeveloped. The coin has a marketcap under $200,000 and the Twitter account (https://twitter.com/geo_coin) has not been updated since February.

Sometimes development halts due to lack of funding or simple abandonment, but that hardly spells an end to many other open source projects out there today. Perhaps this newfound mania for Augmented Reality games will bring about some exciting prospects for the GeoCoin.
