RE: Ethereum Goes Crazy! / KodakCoin? / Fraudster Jamie Dimon / Block Explorer = BCH Is Bitcoin / More!

in #crypto-news6 years ago

All the new folks on coinbase help as well since there are limited coin options and most of the newbies take a bit to get comfortable enough to move onto exchanges. When they do decide to move to the exchanges and recognize the fees and speed of BTC they end up using ETH for the reasons you mentioned and lower fees. Just my opinion

My friends use Litecoin to move to exchanges. Would you happen to know if moving Litecoin to exchanges is cheaper than moving Ethereum?

That depends... Mainly on what coins you want to buy with your Litecoins. If you want to buy a coin that can only be bought with Ethereum on an exchange then you will have to trade/convert Litecoin into Ethereum and pay another fee. I'm not an expert but there is not an easy yes or no answer in this situation due to the many variables. Hope that makes at least some sense.

Understood. I am new to Crypto and have only been converting Bitcoin when trading and was unaware of the other options. Thanks!
