Bytecode usually refers to the intermediate code that has been compiled but is not machine code and needs to be translated by the interpreter for machines. Bytecode is primarily intended to implement a specific software operation and software environment, regardless of the hardware environment. The implementation of bytecode is through compilers and virtual machines. The compiler compiles the source code into bytecode, and the virtual machine on a platform then translates the bytecode into instructions that can be run directly.
Bytecode can basically be regarded as the instruction code of the virtual machine. It is an intermediate code designed to speed up the execution speed of the runtime. Like the assembly instruction set, it is a kind of virtual instruction, and not directly in the CPU. To run bytecode, AVM (Ambr virtual machine) is required to explain the execution. Bytecode has the advantages of reducing file size, generating functions faster, increasing the difficulty of being cracked, and improving the optimization of source code.
