According to a recent non-profit self-regulatory organization survey, 7.4% of South Koreans said they bought a certain amount of cryptocurrency, reports Arirang news agency.
Compared to last year, the number of cryptoinvestors in the country increased by 1%. The average amount of investment in digital assets per person exceeded $ 6 thousand, which is more than 60% higher than the 2018 figure.
Surprisingly, in South Korea, the most massive group of investors in cryptocurrency were people over 50 years old, and only the second place was taken by residents aged 30 years and older.
