Constantinople is almost here! The date should be late Jan 15th 2019 est time or early Jan 16th 2019 just a few days away!
This is the hard fork we where waiting for in 2018 which never came and ended up being delayed. It should pave the way to a number of major quick advancements to the Ethereum blockchain and I have very high hopes for it.
Currently Binance is set to support the upcoming ETH hardfork and I have a feeling every other exchange will be behind it soon there really is no reason not to support this update.
2019 will also mark a big change in how Ethereum works by reducing power consumption of the blockchain by 99%
Yup 99%!
This will most likely take all year to fully implement however it clearly shows progress and a move into the right direction as we roll into 2020 which everyone has foreseen as the biggest year of adoption of cryptocurrency.
I am really waiting for the POS change which will be great for the network but I believe that this upgrade has some fundamental code for that as well. It has truly been outperforming the market for sure.

Yup this lays the groudwork for POS but it seems like it will take till late this year for it to be fully rolled out which is pretty understandable when changing the entire blockchain.
I know for sure ill be holding and building my ETH till that point. Being able to POS is going to be down right awesome!
