Unfortunately, news sites care much more about bad news as it gets more traffic and revenue. They entire business model of news organizations hinges on creating drama where there is none. More drama = more money!
Strongly agree. Mainstream financial media (yahoo finance, cnbc, fbn, marketwatch, bbg, wsj) have an overwhelming negative bias against crypto, which makes sense as their advertisers/viewers/guests are all that are not crypto.

Just wait until cryptocurrencies are brought up at Davos. They will most likely be discussing strategies for suppression or adoption. Governments will back what they can control and tax.

It's not unusual to see the market down over the weekend. This week will be interesting. Can the market recover recent losses or do we have more downside to come? I'll just hold my coins and see what happens.
I think the World Economic Forum in Davos is causing FUD. Cryptocurrency will certain be a topic that will be discussed. Switzerland allows taxes to be paid in BTC, but other nations may be looking to suppress its use.

cryptocurrency is the future as long as the people releasing them has a specific goal and not just money gathering on the crypto hyip (scams).
I like bitcoin and its transparency but i do not like the fact that anyone one can check my account and balances. so there is a need for a better privacy on that. of course the more things get out of control, the more governmebts will try to intervene. it happens all the time wit fiat currency.
