Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, J. Christopher Giancarlo, and his counterpart at the Securities Exchange Commission, Jay Clayton, to testify on Capital Hill today. Looking to find a middle ground, as both are willing to work with US Lawmakers on the issues at hand. The main topic of the meeting will be whether or not increased federal regulations of cryptocurrency trading platforms will be necessary. Another huge topic will be Initial Coin Offerings (ICO's), since there have been numerous amounts of scams recently.
What does this meeting hold in store for the future of crypto? Hopefully we can see some positive news after all the negative news coming from China in recent weeks.
