I think the biggest is Gary Gensler.
But, it is really hard to tell. Because these are not lone criminals.
Bankman Freed didn't get all that money without being connected.
He was probably being a money launderer. Or maybe a payment point for bribes.
He had money come his way, that should never have thought twice about that exchange.
I think the whole thing was a con job.
Then, i have to compare con jobs.
Gary, single handedly stopped XRP's meteoric rise.
And there was NOTHING in the lawsuit.
Even if there was something in it, it would have defined the rules for XRP. (which may have been a better outcome. XRP, the first federally regulated crypto)
But, they SEC just dragged this out, and then asked for some million dollars.
I think that Gary is the bigger villain.
I think it is down to Gary Gensler and SBF for sure. Gensler has certainly been directed to execute this operation choke point and really mess up the crypto market. They have sued everyone essentially.
The reason I say SBF though is we don't know the full entanglement of that whole deal. He was sentenced like a year ago. Why is he being detained in the same cell as Diddy and why hasn't he been moved to a permanent facility? Why did Diddy leave the supposed island he couldn't be extradited from in the Caribbean? Now they are bunk mates? Doesn't even make sense.
Honey pots like Epstein or whatever that deal was about. Most of the entities Gary Gensler has attacked have been able to some how survive for the time being except for Bittrex. But yeah that guy is certainly a Villain.
