How to Make a Deposit
- Ensure that you have made an initial deposit to your CILIO Wallet.
2. Navigate to the Lend screen via the link in the top or bottom menus.
3. To initiate a lending transaction, click the ‘Lend’ button within the row of the coin your wish to lend.
4. A lend popup will appear on the screen prompting to input the desired amount to lend. Once input, click ‘Confirm’ to initiate the transfer from your CILIO Wallet to your interest-earning balance.
5. Once the funds have transferred, they will be displayed within the appropriate row of the Lend dashboard.
How to Redeem Your Lend Balance
To redeem lent funds and earned interest from your Lend account, navigate to the Lend Balance dashboard and select the ‘Redeem’ button for the currency you wish to stop lending.
After inputting and confirming the desired amount within the proceeding popup screen, the funds will be moved back to your CILIO Wallet. If you wish to go on to withdraw your assets to an external wallet address, use the Withdraw function within your CILIO Wallet.

What does CILIO do with Lend assets?
Your loaned assets are used for lending to other CILIO Finance users, with any supplemental idle funds managed via reputable third-party platforms.
These platforms include — but may not be limited to — DeFi protocols such as Compound, Aave, and dYdX, as well as CeFi services such as FTX, Bitfinex, and Nexo.
In order to protect the value of your loaned assets, we may also additionally hedge the crypto price when assets are being managed in a different cryptocurrency than originally deposited, such as the case with BTC being managed via USDT.
What are the fees for using CILIO Lend?
Depositing BTC into your CILIO Lend account incurs a Lend Initiation fee of 0.3%. This fee is waived for ETH and stablecoin deposits.
How are CILIO Lend prices calculated?
The current price for each coin is referenced from the Huobi, Binance, Bitfinex, Kraken, Poloniex, OKEX, and KuCoin cryptocurrency exchanges. These prices are compared to each other, excluding prices that are beyond a certain range from the other prices, before generating an average within the qualified prices.
What are the interest rates of CILIO Lend?
The interest rates of CILIO Lend vary depending on the demand and supply of lend and borrow, in addition to current market conditions.
How and how often is interest paid out?
For each new deposit to your Lend account, a period of 24 hours is required before interest on said deposit amount will begin to be distributed. Interest is calculated once a day and distributed daily to your Lend account balance.
Does CILIO Lend interest compound?
Yes, interest accrued within the CILIO Lend account is compounding, with stablecoins and ETH earning compounding interest in their respective currencies. BTC earns simple interest in USDT which is then displayed within the USDT section of your Lend Balance dashboard, whereupon this USDT begins to earn compounding interest.
