This is my Experience from using Crypto Mining Apps that don't use any CPU on a Smartphone.
I've been using an iPhone, but if you have an Android, there won't be any Difference.
I will review 2 Different Apps:
1: Electroneum
2:Pi
Let's look at the Descriptions of the Apps first!
Electroneum:
Electroneum is a simple to use mobile cryptocurrency.
Electroneum has developed a brand new disruptive ecosystem for vendors & operators. Working within regulatory guidelines, creating user confidence and security.
Pi:
Pi is a new digital currency. This app allows you to access and grow your Pi holdings and serves as wallet to host your digital assets. Pi is fairly distributed, eco-friendly and consumes minimal battery power.
While you can cash out you ETN (Short for Electroneum), you can't (yet) cash out PI.
ETN uses a System called “Cloud Mining” where a Machine in the Cloud will mine for you. And Pi will give you PI, by something what you call a “Trust Circle” where you get more Pi the more People you invite.
You need to Renew the Cloud Mining that ETN uses every 7 Days. With Pi, you will need to do that every 24 Hours.
If you wanna get into Crypto on you Phone, I suggest getting into Electroneum, because you can Cash it out and is more established than Pi.
