MediBloc: Healthcare Industry Takes A New Stride Into Decentralized Blockchain Technology
Before the advent of MediBloc, we were conditioned to accept, world over, an unhealthy method of storing and transferring our medical records, solely because we had no choice.
This unhealthy method comes with terrible incumbrances that prevent patients from making adequate use of their own medical data because there are certain arbitrary governmental policies made to hold such data far from the reach of the actual owners.
This is why, whenever our medical records are needed in places like schools, embassies etc.., we have always been subjected to rigorous procedure that, most times, require some payments to get OUR OWN medical records from the respective health institutions.
Is this fair?
Well, MediBloc thinks we deserve better treatment and, as a matter of fact, has provided a perfect solution to permanently address these challenges.
Who Then Is MediBloc, You Ask?
That is the exact purpose of this article. To tell more people about MediBloc and further create awareness about its awesome benefits.
Simply put, MediBloc is a decentralized healthcare information platform, created to restore the lost right of patients to the information of their own health and enable them to give access to any doctor, nurse, school, agency or anybody at all whom they think should know something about their medical record.

Now, there are much more benefits to this project than anyone can explain in a single article. However, in this article, I will try to answer the following questions:

Before the answers to the above questions, let's meet the people behind MediBloc.
Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho and Dr. Eunsol Lee are the two gentlemen who took this task from the inception. Both men have finely similar professional experiences, being equally renowned in medicine and engineering. Having spent active years in blockchain programming, they understand the latent benefits of blockchain technology. After identifying the shortcomings in the healthcare data storage system, Dr. Kho and Lee took up the challenges of solving these problems through blockchain technology.
In what ways will MediBloc change the medical data industry?
Until now, the medical data industry was overly centralized. Information about people's medical records were stored away in some remote medical institutions, making it extremely difficult for patients to reach this information whenever they need medications from other locations of the world.
More so, there have been influences from governmental angles that hamper the release of full medical details to the real owners of such details and such things have been considered unethical under the medical profession.
The good news is that MediBloc has arrived. When we say "Decentralized", we are talking about MediBloc's ability to snatch medical information away from the secret institutional archives and give it back to the patients who are the real owners of these data.
It is a sheer digitalized approach that will change the whole outlook. So someone's medical history will no longer be confined in any faraway shelve. It will now be a mobile link that follows him wherever he goes. When there is a need to utilize any part of this data, he simply authorizes whomever he wants to have access to it.
What is the impact of people having full control over their medical records?
First, this will hasten medication process by removing the hassles associated with transferring data from one medical institution to another.
Secondly, it will guarantee authenticity. Transferring data from one place to another often comes with the challenge of inaccurate information and this leads to poor medication results.
People having control over their medical records can as well be cost effective. This is also in addition to the security edge.
How can this development impact on the way medical data is used in the medical field, and other relevant quarters such as insurers and researchers?
Within the medical field, it's going to be a soft-touch-access-enabled for medical professionals whose patients have consented to accessing their health records. The days of spending huge amount of time, trying to locate a patient's file or trying to put a message across to another health institution to transfer such file shall pass away, and a new norm of one-touch instant access to necessary health information shall be embraced.
The impact of this development is not limited to medical institutions. The benefit ripples across other industries like insurance and research.
Within the insurance sector for instance, a great number of preventable deaths occur every year. In some other cases, minor sicknesses escalate due to wrong medication or slow response which are often caused by the unavailability of accurate health record.
If these records are handy, it will avert a number of this negative occurrences and help the insurance companies save some good chunk of money.
What is the effect of having established partnerships with major corporations on the integration of MediBloc once MainNet is launched?
Wait....let me clear something first: a blockchain has TestNet and MainNet. MainNet is that aspect of the blockchain that actually transfers money. It's an evidence that the blockchain is up and alive. It's usually launched after the ICO.

MediBloc is better because it brings such changes that will make a patient's health data be accessible from anywhere in the world just by a click.
Now, this will translate to saving money, time and energy that would be gulped if the traditional method of moving this data from a distant institution to the patient's present location.

Evidently, MediBloc has a set of refined and credible team, championing the overall project, through whose explanations, investors and partners of all categories have been firmly assured the safety of their investment.
The fact that both founders are well equipped, knowledge-wise, in both relevant fields – medicine and engineering, points to the certainty that they have genuine knowledge of the forces holding the health industry down and have obviously succeeded in creating a perfect solution through a technological approach.
When properly executed, this project is going to change our behaviour towards health industries for good because in addition to ensuring accurate medical data, easy accessibility to the said data, reduction of data processing cost, it will as well, serve as one great source of revenue to companies across many sectors.
