$200 Million In 60 Minutes: Filecoin ICO Rockets to Record Amid Tech Issues
Real insane ICO launch of Filecoin. An idea that has been around for some time that could be a major industry disrupter, but this ICO insanity is getting really, really dangerous now - in my opinion.
They are raising such huge amounts of capital purely based on a hypothesis, a whitepaper, hopes and dreams. They haven't even created the technology needed, or solved the complex problems that would allow them to disrupt the likes of Amazon.
Usually startups are rewarded for solving problems other people cannot.
Where does this end? A startup being funded billions of dollars 30 minutes after the inventor conceived the idea and publishes a whitepaper.
You laugh now, but we are almost in the day and age where an idea will be funded moments after it is conceived, a company will be created on digital assets only, then sold with the original creator having exited the venture - all within 1 day.
