Some advertisers utilizing Google Adwords for promotion other cryptocurrency related businesses are seeing a massive drop in ad use along with suspensions of both their ads and their Adwords accounts.
Many ICO companies advertise on Google Adwords, which have dropped by the thousands. An ICO company Finance Magnates has connected the drop in use to the fact that Adwords is now defining their ads as "limited" as they are approved but will not displayed a certain age groups, regions, or devices.
A search of Google Adwords account issues brings up several posts regarding companies within the crypto sphere having written about their ads and accounts being suspended over such ads.
Responding to an inquiry titled "Why CryptoCurrency Accounts Block [sic] or Suspended?” I user by the name MosheTLV comments that Adwords Financial Services Regulation rules are not being followed by some crypto advertisers. Crypto related ads may be limited or blocked due to the "very high risk of crypto investing for customers which is not made clear in any detail". This could constitute a violation of the financial services regulations.

I kinda think this isnt the worst thing to happen in crypto. Hopefully cut back some of the garbage that is currently being advertised and give a bit of legitimacy back to the cryptosphere. Time to be taken more seriously!
